Samsung HM1300 Bluetooth Headset (Blue)

I don't understand why people buy this thinking it's going to be a high end Bluetooth device it's not it was made to serve one purpose and it does it well it's not meant to be used for long periods of time so comfort doesn't really matter you buy this purely for function not comfort. The low Star ratings are unfair. You don't buy a 4 cylinder car and criticize it because it doesn't run like an eight. This device successfully paired with my phone My Bluetooth Bose speaker bar, and my car's stereo. If you're having trouble pairing in just watch a YouTube video.

I ordered this Headset because I really didn't want to pay over $50 dollars unless I absolutely had to. So I chose a couple of models and did what I always do....I studied the reviews. I like to take my time and read a lot of reviews and decide from there. My system hasn't failed me yet. What I do is start with the most recent reviews first. Originally I never checked the date but realized that many of the first reviews on the first page could date back say four years or so. If there were flaws at first many manufacturers work them out so by starting with the newest first the reviews usually reflect what the item is like now. I have Amazon Prime so when my daughter brought in the mail last night before she went away for a long weekend, I actually forgot it was coming and didn't open package until after she left. My husband passed away suddenly a couple of months ago and if I wasn't sure how to set something up we would work on it together and I have to have eye surgery so it is impossible to read fine small printing on the setup directions so I figured I would have to wait a few days to try it out. I did figure out easily how to charge it up which I did overnight. This model came in several different colors and I chose the bright green one to match my green iPhone 5c. It also indicated that this model headset was compatible with my phone. I then decided to just fly with it and try to set it up without instructions. I mean how much damage could I do ;) I went into settings on my iPhone and clicked Bluetooth and turned that on and clicked below that ( I was praying that was for pairing since I could not actually read it) I made sure the little light was on to indicate the headset was on and tried it and it works fine even with an idiot in control. It sounded very clear and there was no noticeable echo It was really late so I didn't want to wake up everyone in my phone directory so I will use it a while and add to this review if it becomes necessary. I am sure it will be just as easy to set up with most other cellphone models. It is made by Samsung so it is not one of those cheap off brands that no one has ever heard of. Finally it comes will a plug in AC charger, a couple of replacement silicone type ear buds and an extra hook to go over your ear and a warranty. I am sure the directions are helpful too if you need them but I am betting you won't. This would make a great gift for Mom with Mothers Day around the corner and it won't break the bank

This headset has good quality sound and we did not get any complaints when talking to others with it. The main draw back is that if you use it all day it gets uncomfortable and the only real adjustment you have is the ear loop. It also started to fail for us within a month of purchase and the battery life is just average. In fairness my mother who is blind was using it so the Headset probably took a little more abuse than it was designed for. Main thing is that this is an average headset at a fair price but if you are looking for a high fidelity solution or above average performance you need to choose another Bluetooth.

I've been using this for several weeks now and am really happy with it. The sound is very clear. It was really easy to hook up to my phone, (took less than a minute.) It's never lost the connection with my phone. Hasn't lost a call. Charges very quickly and the battery lasts a good long time. This is very easy to use. Press the button & a voice says in your ear, "Please say a command." It responds pretty accurately to what you tell it to do, ie: "call home", "redial". I didn't give it 5 stars because it isn't real easy to put the thing on your ear, and it doesn''t fit my ear as well as I'd like. I need to try the smaller adapter to see if that improves the fit. Overall, I am really happy with this and the price was great!

The clear plastic ear clips are junk. Straight up junk. Both have broken and I am not a heavy user of this device. Sometimes several days would pass between using this product. I did not handle this device rough, I was not abusing the ear clips. With very light usage and even being very tender with the ear clips, they have both broken. Waste of time and money as now I have to buy replacement clips for 10 bucks. I shoulda just spent 25 or 30 bucks to begin with on a higher quality item. Super un-happy and not satisfied. Excellent device. Feels solid, and I was not expecting that. It looks flimsy and cheap, but its an excellent deal, works as it should and the price I paid is perfect. Less than 20 bucks. I feel like I won with this transaction! EDIT: Dropped it a distance of about 10 inches, and the ear clip broke. 2nd EDIT: The clear plastic clips that hold it to your ear are incredibly flimsy. The two that came with this product have already broken. Lowering my rating to just two stars.

Lo recomiendo, el único detalle es que en exteriores el escucha no recibe a buen volumen el sonido, pero en interiores es perfecto.
