In Love with Christ: The Narrative of Sarah Edwards (Annoted by Jennifer Adams)

It provides a fresh look into the life of an 18th century Christian woman. Her emotional exuberance surprised and delighted me. The book shatters the stereotype of the rigid and unfeeling Calvinist.

This book just covered a brief sum up of her childhood then launched into narrative of a two week religious experience she had followed by her husband's account of it then her sons take on her husbands account. It was boring and too honed in on one thing. I was hoping the book would have been much more broad.

Excellent read, full of great arching splendor. One must determine to complete it to truly enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this book. It contains Sarah and Jonathan's account of Sarah's experience during the awakenng and both accounts are challenging and very encouraging. Buy this book with cfidence that you will be lifted up to desire the glory of God more.

What Sarah Edwards wrote was great - albeit in olden language - but very readable. The actual printing of the book itself left something to be desired, but the overall content was good.

A wonderful encouragement to make Christ your first priority relationship. No one is more wonderful than the Savior!

I'm Filipino and I find this an easy and light read. Must read for women, wives, mothers.
