Chair is too small for a 6' 205 lb size 34x34 pants guy
This review is for the AKRacing Masters Series Premium Gaming Chair with High Backrest, Recliner, Swivel, Tilt, 4D ArmrestsI work for a company that deals with textile, research and development as well as selling products made from vendors that could create this product. First and foremost, the quality was okay, the stitching was off in several areas and either the person sewing or the machine needs to slow down. The quality of the "cold- cure foam" was nothing special, similar to 100-dollar chairs at Walmart. The real issue was the actual width of the chair, the fact that they have a 330lb caster is great but I can guarantee that no 330lb person can fit in this chair. The support on the sides have a full metal bar with very little cushion or "foam" that digs into your outer thighs like nothing I've ever experienced before. I have read a review where a "larger" guy then myself had to use a mallet to smash out the sides. I figured well I am 6', 205 lbs. very fit individual, this won’t be a problem for me. I have ordered high tier deep cage seats for my Jeep and figured that because this company "AKRacing has been in business since 2001 as a real seat manufacturing company. First in automotive sport seats then expanding to gaming and office chairs." this would be an amazing upgrade to my current Sams Club office chair. I was wrong and after 30 minutes of using the chair I am boxing it up and have already printed the return label. I initially spent many hours researching what chair I wanted and after a fellow gamer with multiple back surgeries recommended this brand, I jumped all over it.The PU Leather was also extremely hot for the short time that I experienced this chair. The outside temp is 64 degrees and the internal temp of the room is 68.The chair is also a solid 3" shorter than your standard office chair, I also saw a review on this and figured the guy was being dramatic, I was wrong he is correct this is a short chair. While all of that may seem harsh, I am not so made at the company as I am fellow reviewers. How in the world are you 6' plus 200 lb plus and fit into this chair?Pros:I did however really like the rocking and locking feature of this chair, for the short time I sat in it.Assembly was not bad but not the greatest, they need to have threads that protrude out of the actual seat instead of trying to find the thread through the leather (creature comfort)It looks really nice, once it is all put together and by itself it looks amazing (other than minor stitching errors)It was packaged well and nothing was damagedThe back support is amazing, I didn’t use the pillow but I imagine if you broke it in it would be just rightCons:Too uncomfortable to sit for any period longer than 45 minutesExtremely hot, no breath-abilityPrice Point does not match the stitch workRND is questionable on test subjectSo short, I couldn’t use the keyboard or mouse properlyIf you are smaller guy, I can see this as possibly being a great chair. For a full-grown adult that is normal and I mean normal. I go to the gym, I am active, I wear size 34 by 34 pants, you will not fit in this chair. IF they would simply (like all vehicle bucket seats) have a smooth transition for the wings instead of a 80 degree angle and add some cushion this may be a chair I would love.I am not writing this review to bash the company but more so for someone like me that is lost in the gaming chair world trying to find something that is expensive but worth the investment. I should have heeded the larger guy’s review but I thought I would fit right in snug as a bug and super comfortable, I was mistaken.Overall rating 2 stars based on lack of description on who it will really fit (felt mislead) as I have put detailed descriptions on Amazon for sale I feel like this is a no brainer and they need to do a better job on the target audience. That being said the bottom part of the chair with the wheels and the overall sturdiness of the chair deserve recognition but it’s a 300 dollar chair.. it should be built this way.Support N/AEasy to Assemble 4 – could be better the directions are horrible but it’s a chair.. not a rocketComfort 2- the rock and tilt got these stars very well done and the best I’ve encountered so far it really locks in what angle you like and keeps you there.

not worth the money
I was looking for a more comfortable gaming chair after sitting in a friends DxRacer. I made the mistake of thinking the more expensive chair would be better, and I was wrong. The DxRacer was much more solid and it was the cheapest model out. The chair is comfortable, it is nice, so I won't say it is entirely bad. However the arm rests on the AKracing chair are so loose, flimsy and cheap feeling, feels like it should be a $75 chair. I would recommend getting the DxRacer instead.

not comfortable for long-term use
I got one of these as an office chair when my job transitioned to work-from-home, and it just doesn't keep me comfortable for a full work day.I'm 150lbs so not a heavy guy, and this chair really starts to get uncomfortable after about 4 hours or so of sitting (even with frequent breaks to walk around and stretch my legs). The cushioning in the seat is pretty hard and the adjustment in height for the chair and the arms is not nearly enough, leading to either the chair being so high my legs are barely on the ground (I'm 5'-10" so my legs are not short by any means) or my arm-rests being several inches lower than desk height.I had to add thick cushions to the arm-rests (which are so hard that they are borderline unusable in stock form) to make them comfortable and also to add some height to them, and they still sit lower than I'd like at their max height. In that configuration the chair is usable but still lacks decent seat cushioning.I can't imagine how much this thing would suck for someone shorter than me, or who is not willing to add over $100 in extra seat and armrest cushioning to make it tolerable for day-in, day-out multi-hour sitting.
