This is an excellent book. It is very well written. It outlines many important finds, and it gives a really good picture of what real fieldwork is like. Literally anyone going off on a dig for the first time should read this to capture the why part of excavation (which is easily lost during the excavation itself).

Author was my professor and we discussed this site in class. It was nice to have a more complete read about it. Anything Soren does is worth reading.
