This was my first purchase of a coffee from Twin Engine, and though I knew that the price of almost $20 for less than 11 ounces was a splurge--the description made it sound as if it would be/could be a real coffee-drinker's pleasure so it was worth the try. Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed as rather than getting a robust, well-roasted coffee with a dark and appealing look, the coffee is almost light reddish brown with a strong, off aroma. I then looked at the bottom of the package and as I just received this almost at the end of April and it has 530 written on it--it appears that this was shipped less than 5 weeks before the expiration date. Either way, the flavor is not as described and the flavor and aroma are both sharp and not appealing.

I’m a big fan of Twin Engine Coffee and in the last year we’ve become a Twin Engine only coffee drinkers. My wife will only drink Honey Bear these days but since the new packaging I feel like the ground coffee packages contain less and less coffee in them with every order. It pains me to give such a low review being I always give 5 star ratings but this last package is ridiculous. We order thru Amazon to save on shipping but it seems lately we pay for shipping by giving up product. What gives??????? Do we need to order thru Twin Engine and pay the $8 shipping to have consistently filled bags?
