Many of the recordings included in the set have never been released before, or are rare/fanclub only gems. Cover and individual sleeve artwork has been created by renowned British graphic designer Vaughan Oliver, who described it as an irreverent conceptual and visual reimagining of his original Last Splash artwork. This set contains the digitally remastered edition of Last Splash, plus a live set, Stockholm Syndrome, recorded in Sweden in 1994, during the band's last European tour, BBC radio session recorded July 24 1993, the original Last Splash demo recordings from November 1992 and more. Comes with a 24-page booklet featuring previously unpublished photographs taken during the recording of Last Splash, personal photos taken during two years of touring, and reminiscences written by band members and others, including Kim Gordon and J Mascis.

An absolute steal....
A beautiful 3CD gatefold package very much in the old traditions of 4AD. Not only do you get a remastered version of the Breeders' classic 'Last Splash' album but you also get 2 further CDs - one is a 25-track collection of various rarities whilst CD3 consists of 20 live tracks (16 live in Stockholm plus 4 BBC session tracks). The live version of Drivin' On 9 is worth the money alone....beautiful. Buy and get nostalgic listening to a great band, whose music still sounds as fresh as it first did when Last Splash was originally released 20 years ago.

I love the Last Splash - it's been a favourite since its release and I still play the vinyl regularly. As well as the Last Splash, this has 2 CDs of other tracks/versions that anyone who appreciates Kim Deal will enjoy.

Old times return
I've loved the Breeders since hearing them for the first time decades ago- that love is undiminished, and now has extra depth, thanks to this set. I have more to hear.

Outstanding
This is one of my favourite albums of all time, great tunes all through with fantastic changes of tempo/genre. The extras on this album made it worth while buying.
