Bezl Corner Protected Case for iPhone 5 (Cobalt)

I absolutely loved this case for almost a year. You can actually see the ultra-slim, whatever color phone that you chose. I hate the idea of putting a giant case on something that was engineered to be as small as technology could allow, so I bought the Bezl.Pros:-As small as possible!-Allows your phone to stand up. Surprisingly handy if you like watching videos while eating or something-conversation piece. People were constantly asking me about my case, which was fine by me-love the look of itCons-only one, they were constantly falling off.I bought the Bezl for the first time and put it on my IPhone. About 85 days later, one fell off and I put off calling in about the warranty. I go to their website page titled "lifetime warranty" and they say that they will only replace it before 90 days. It basically says not to message them if it's past 90 days. When did 90 days become a lifetime?? It's been literally 92 days since I bought the case, so I send them an email. NO RESPONSE.I call amazon, and they agree to honor the fact that it says lifetime guarantee on their page. Another 90 days later, two of them fall off (but I kept them). It's as though the glue is designed to fail after 3 months.I call amazon and this time, they refuse to honor the guarantee. The representative says that it's not through Amazon. I decided to just buy some mounting tape and stick them all back on. That works perfectly! for another 90 days until one falls off and I lose it.I call Amazon and they refund me. I couldn't do it another time.I loved loved loved this case while I had it, but the corners just do not hold up against constantly being pulled in and out of purses and pockets. If you're more careful than me and own some mounting tape, then I think this could work. I gave in and bought an ultra slim, clear case on Amazon with the refund instead.

Really love this case. Works like a charm. Bezls go on and they stay on. Didn't feel like they were overly bulky as some people mentioned. I'd say it is a ton less bulky than having a full case on. Slips into my pocket just fine.I know you aren't suppose to do this but to show my friends I dropped my iphone from about 5 feet multiple times onto a bar's hardwood floor with the phone showing no damage at all.The only bad side is that if you don't have a skinny headphone cord the Bezl does get in the way of putting your headphone cord into the jack of the phone. With one of my cords the jack doesn't go in all the way but plays.Overall great product. I suggest getting a screen protector for front and back and possibly plastic bumpers for the sides of the device that isn't covered. Also if you have a bulky headphone cord, the bezl will probably get in the way if putting the cord all the way in.

Perhaps too minimal for my liking. Your iPhone will really be exposed. While the corners are protected, nothing else is, and if keeping your tools protected and looking sharp is important to you as a business person, you might not care for this item. However, if you want a thin, almost nonexistent by design level of protection--this will do it for you. Once I had it on my phone, I felt it was just too naked for me to carry. I took it off and put my $700+ computer back into an Otter Box case.

The packaging is beautiful and the instructions are very clear. I was in a rush to put them on because I was so excited. However, there are several angles that the piece can possibly fit in, so now a few are a bit uneven with the rest, and that will bother me from time to time. Feels great in my pocket, no more of that bulging plastic case. One of the bright sides is that it is easy to cool down your phone now. The pieces wiggle as they probably should to provide some dampening. As they are permanent, it is difficult to remove by hand with a moderate amount of force, but not impossible. Haven't risked a drop test because I'm not sure how well they hold up even though several drop tests have proven this to be a very good product.

The good -Protects: The corners really do protect the phone. I've dropped it regularly and the phone has never been damaged. Once it flew out of my pocket while jogging, crashed onto the concrete sidewalk, and bounced. One of the corners fell off, but the phone was fine, so I felt great about buying another one (in another color!)Is pretty: People literally stop me on the street and in stores to ask me about my iPhone case because it looks cool or novel or elegant. It's the only case I've found that's not bulky and does actually show the phone's elegant body. That can also make it easier to fit into pockets I think. It's also small and lightweight - why would you weigh down an iPhone? Plus I changed the colors so I'm getting compliments from people I see regularly. Yes, I like compliments?Easy: It was really straightforward to apply the corners, and also to remove them and put on new ones. Yes, I had to rub the adhesive off, but I've spent 3 minutes of my life doing less valuable things.Cost: Costs similar to other inexpensive cases I've found. While you're buying less material, you're paying for the idea and the function and sexiness, so I don't have a problem with that.The bad -It's possible they don't last as long as other cases; I used mine for several months, then accidentally threw it on concrete while I was jogging and had a corner fall off. I don't know if another case would have survived that, but since a corner fell off I had to buy a new set. That was fine with me, since my phone was fine.
