EcolutionReversible Grill/Griddle Pan, Non-Stick, Dishwasher Safe, Double Burner Family Griddle Grill Pan Cookware, Cast Aluminum, 19.5-Inch x 11-Inch

I have had several stove top griddle/grills and haven't been happy with them...until now!Experience with with other griddle/grills:First I had a NordicWare one that was supposed to be non-stick. It wasn't! I did love the grease reservoir and it fit my stovetop, but it just stuck waaaaay too much. Then I got a LodgeLogic Cast Iron one. It stuck, too (despite that they say it's pre-seasoned AND I also oiled it just in case.) It didn't fit well over my square gas burners (too small) plus it was extremely heavy and there was no grease reservoir. I tried to care for it as instructed but food just kept sticking to it! You definitely can't put cast iron in a dishwasher, you have to dry it right away or it will rust, and you're supposed to rub it with oil after each wash so it's really a pain in the butt to clean/maintain. Admittedly I didn't clean it properly EVERY time, but that was after months of doing it right and then I just finally gave up. Perhaps I simply don't have the patience to maintain cast iron. After 3 years of trying to make this pan work for me, and after last week when I lost half of my burgers because they were stuck to the pan, I threw the damn thing away and hopped online to find a different one. I saw the Ecolution and decided to take a chance.The Ecolution experience:When I first opened the package I was a bit dismayed at how lightweight it is. My immediate thought was "There's no way this thing's gonna distribute heat evenly" ... but it DID!!! At first I thought it wasn't going to fit on my GE square gas burners, but once I flipped in the other way, it was perfect, though if your burners are any larger than mine it might not. It would be wise to measure before purchasing. On the griddle I made turkey burgers (with no added oil!), grilled some bread (with a little butter), and fried some eggs (with a bit of butter.) Nothing stuck! I grilled the bread in the middle section, which is between the burners, and it grilled evenly! What a wonderful surprise. The next meal was a NY Strip Steak on the grill side. I did lightly oil the grill just in case (Do NOT use cooking spray. Just a little oil on a paper towel is good.) No sticking! Joy!!! Cleanup was a breeze since there was no sticking. You can also throw it in the dishwasher. The reservoir is a great feature. OH -- and I was actually using medium-high heat and experienced no warping at all as has been stated by other reviewers. Hoping this thing holds up and continues to perform as well as on these first two tests. Will update my review if it doesn't!

I just recently moved into a home with a gas stove, which I have never used before. There is a long oval burner in the middle of the stove between the 4 burners and this grill/griddle is perfect to use for family breakfasts of pancakes or eggs. It is also great to be able to make 6 grilled cheese sandwiches at once! Very easy to clean and I really like that it is 2 sided.

This griddle is so great! Easy to clean, easy to use, multifunctional. I’ve used butter on it for pancakes and such, but never oil. I wait hours before washing it (more like rinsing it) so I don’t shock the griddle and lose its coating or bow. The heat is not as well distributed than with cast iron (heat stays generally where the burners are) but still functions in the center, just doesn’t cook as quickly.In other reviews I’ve seen multiple “issues” which I believe are user error. 1. It won’t “bow” or warp as long as you don’t spray it with water when hot. 2. The non stick coating will continue to work as long as you don’t spray it with water when it’s hot. 3. Use a non-metal spatula, I use silicon to prevent scraping of the non-stick coating.

I love this 2 sided griddle but I have to admit that I use the grill side several times a week. Perfect grill marks, not too heavy (maybe a little too light weight) but I had the cast iron grill and had to return it because it was too heavy for me to use. I am 65 years old so this one is perfect for me, very easy to clean with my soft wand sponge. I use it for burgers, grilled sandwiches with every type of bread, bagels, croissants, buns. It is inexpensive too, so I am going to order another one so I can grill my bread on the other side of the stove while I am cooking my burgers. Worth the price. It stays on top of the stove because I use so often.

I had one like this years ago. This one is better. It's very sturdy and easy to clean. However I will say two things. If you cook a lot of bacon on the griddle side, be prepared for grease pools in the corners. Also it doesn't lay very securely on top of my range stove, it had a tendency to kind of slide around which I did not like . however I do have a double plate cooker that it sits beautifully on and works wonderfully for cooking anything. Just fyi. Not disappointed at all. The grill side of it is fantastic for burgers, sausage, kabob Etc anything you want to grill. And The Griddle side is wonderful for eggs and pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches etc. It has become a favorite kitchen cooking Gadget for me.

only issue with this, at least with mine, is that the flat surface is a little convex, meaning a small hump in the middle, so if I am cooking eggs they don't stay in the middle and run to sides.

Not a thing I dislike about this, but what surprised me the most was how easy it is to clean, even if you didn't fully get it with the last baking. I've had people ask for the Amazon webpage in order to get one after trying mine. Shows the grill lines. One family member likes to roast tomatoes for homemade salsa on the flat side. We've done pizza on it-- eggplant--both on the grill side--we just use it all the time.

The media could not be loaded. The pan does not grip the big and small coil burners plus after a year the coating is coming off and i have to use pam if i don't, burgers stick

I read the instructions to warm it up slowly- and then raise temperature -Fits over the gas burners nicely. Grills food very well. I’m quite pleased.

I use this across two burners on my stove-top and it works brilliantly. Naturally, the middle is slightly less hot than the sides but that only means a little longer cooking time for your food placed there. Cleaning is a breeze, the non-stick is excellent even after a month of use and it can be run through the dishwasher without a problem. Great product!

love this griddle. flat and easy to clean. IMPORTANT TIP. use on medium heat only. May warp on high heat and affect non stick coating. I only use this for eggs, thin burgers and potato cakes, I have a cast iron (heavy) ribbed griddle for more substantial griddling

Seems good, much lighter than cast iron
