Lightweight and attractive
I needed a light jacket that would fold easily to fit in a backpack for my recent trip. Unfortunately the weather, which was supposed to be springlike, was freezing and rainy, so I had to wear a rain poncho over it a lot of the time. So although not made for the coldest, most miserable winter weather, this jacket is cute, lightweight, somewhat waterproof, and fits the bill for spring and fall. I'm 5 ft. 4 in., 119 pounds, and bought a small, which fits perfectly. It's also got a zipper that works easily and a hood.

Forget about packing it!
This puffer looks and feels great. It’s lightweight and the material seems to be good quality. However, I tried every single suggestions and even watched video tutorials to see how it can be folded and fit into the provided bag. There is NO WAY!! Then I read the reviews and noticed others have also reported same issue. It seems Amazon randomly puts the kid size bags into the adult size packages… it’s a shame as I bought it mainly for this reason. Not sure yet, but I’ll most likely return it.

packable, longer torso, 400 g jacket, 8 g travel bag, 3 g clip
Amazon added a feature where you can put in your weight and other details and it will recommend a size for you. It recommended between a medium and a large for me. I wanted a snug fit so I got a medium. It did fit snugly like I want it. My weight varies between 130 and 150 pounds and I am now at the higher end of my weight. I am petite, 53, and big chested. I found the torso to be a tiny bit long, but that isn't a big deal for the price. Also my backside is a bit big and the jacket reaches a tiny bit onto it past my hips because of the longer torso. Rolling up the bottom a tiny bit shortens the torso and keeps the jacket off of my backside where it is too tight. I don't really like the color, but I was trying to spend as little as possible on this jacket so I got the cheapest color, which is probably the least desirable.Lots of people have asked about the weight of this jacket and have not gotten an answer. I put the jacket in a box to make it easier to weigh as it kept on coming unfolded, and then I subtracted the weight of the box from the total weight. I got 400 g for the medium jacket, 8 g for the travel bag, and 3 g for the clip making a total of 411 g for the entire set up. You would think that they would advertise the weight but they don't. You can see the shipping weight, but that is the weight of the entire package instead of the weight of the jacket. I will add a bit to the shipping week to make sure there is enough leeway. I have not been able to get it to fit in a travel bag. If you can get it to fit there I would encourage you not to store it in its travel bag because jackets and sleeping bags should not be stored in a compressed state, especially synthetic ones. I have tried really hard and can't do it. I'm not sure if I really need its travel back. I'm not an expert, but I believe it would be fine to put it in a backpack uncompressed and then use the compression straps as necessary. It is a huge like a sleeping bag where it could be helpful to have a stuff sack.I believe that if you are using this jacket as part of a proper layering system, you could be fine down to 20°. Perhaps if you were wearing thermal underwear you would be fine a bit lower.. I was just thinking of having it with a moisture wicking long sleeve shirt well actively moving when making my 20° estimate. Without actively moving I would estimate you would need a light weight pullover fleece to get that same 20° and if you started moving with that set up you could get to 10° perhaps. Perhaps with thermal underwear, the shirt over it, the fleece pullover, and then this jacket you could make it below 0°. It depends a lot on whether you are moving, what else you are wearing, and how cold you get. A lot of people are asking though so I thought I would try to estimate. With a sleeping bag it is a lot easier to get a temperature rating because someone is just sleeping. For something over 50° though, I think it might get too hot and it would be better to have a pullover fleece. I don't get cold that easily though. It would be interesting to see what others think of my estimates.I don't really know The purpose of the clip. The instructions also seem to indicate that you can wash it just the way you would wash any other type of clothing, but water resistant jackets normally need to be washed with a special detergent to maintain their waterproofing properties so I'm a bit confused about that. The only other problem I have with the jacket is that I wish it were a bit more breathable, but most jackets of this style have that problem. If your other clothing is breathable I think it would be fine. If I paid $300 for this jacket I would bump the rating down to three stars, but because I paid $30 for this jacket, the rating is four stars.

My Best Purchase Ever
This truly IS one of my all-time great buys. In fairness, I bought this jacket at Christmastime when it was I think $27, but even at the higher price, it's so worth it. It's not a 20 degree jacket, but for a lightweight, all purpose jacket, it's wonderful! On colder days, I wore a fleece jacket with it--perfect. On it's own, it's the perfect Fall and Spring jacket. Looks great. Very comfortable. Well-made. The only thing is that I'm not sure it's completely waterproof, but I can live with that. Love it!

Not waterproof
I bought this jacket because I've in the desert and I just don't need a puffer jacket. However, this winter has been weird and when I saw that we might actually get snow I decided that my fleece lined sweatshirt might not be enough. I had a race last weekend and when I saw it might be raining (or worse) I wore it over my racing gear. Sadly, I was soaked through to my skin, despite wearing two hooded jackets. It just couldn't hold up to the rain and sleet for an hour. It WAS warm. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars, but chose four stars because it warm for such a thin jacket, and it dried in about 20 minutes of being hung over the seat in the car.

Warm in the forest
I love this jacket. I've been living in the pacific northwest for years and never really knew how to keep very warm. the puff jackets are amazing and it's kept me relatively dry in all this rain. The winter was bearable this year and I wore it out to the forest when I went mushroom hunting and hiking. It's easily machine washable and doesn't hold smells at all, which I found quite nice. It's bulky but very light weight. This is a good solid jacket.

Good Economy Puffer Jacket
This jacket is nice for the price and looks like it is quality made. The zippers appear well made and sturdy. The color I ordered (olive green) is a bit lighter than I expected and the waist is a bit small. Therefore I returned as I thought a large would be too boxy. If you are going to wear thick sweaters underneath, go up a size. This jacket doesn't appear warm enough for the snow unless you wear layers. It is warm enough for cold weather and wind.

Definitely recommend
I am not one to leave a review but this is the best winter jacket i’ve ever had. I’m so used to those huge fluffy jackets that you can’t do anything in. Then there’s this guy. It’s so light and easy to move in. I was skeptical at first because of how thin it is, but i genuinely keeps you warm. I’m in a freezer almost all day at work and i wear this and i’m completely fine!

Great for the price
I scoured the reviews to help me with which size to choose, so hope my review helps you. My jacket in bright red has just arrived and I am absolutely stunned that it fits well, after trying on many more expensive versions which didn't fit. I'm a UK size 12 on top, 36C, and went for the M-L. On the actual jacket it says 'medium'. It fits well, and for £25 you cannot go wrong. Ok, it's polyester and it's not going to be filled with duck down, but for something to throw on in the autumn or spring to pop to the supermarket or walk the dog, it's a really good buy.

Sizes are large. Price hike ridiculous!
This coat is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Amazon recommended based on my size and reviews etc I get a Medium. I am a 10-12 so it seemed to make sense getting a medium, but just had a feeling it could be too big. Big mistake not trusting my gut Jacket arrived and it was perfect and I loved the colour. But it was way too big across the chest. I immediatelywent to order a Small size and in two days the price has gone up from £16.52 to £42.77. Absolutely fuming, though obviously it's their perogative to do this. I'm extremely strapped for money, like many at the moment, plus as nice as this coat is, it's simply not worth that amount. So will be returning, not exchanging. Am honestly so disappointed as its the ideal jacket for start of Spring and I'm now going to have to trawl the shops again. The version without a hood is now £50.50, incidentally. For info, I'm 9 stone, 5'5" and a 10-12.

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Hooded Puffer Jacket
I'm wearing a 2x Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Hooded Puffer Jacket. I bought this jacket for myself because I have thick arms. I LOVE it. it shows my figure very well with no complaints. My jacket is true to size, It has one pocket on the left side of the jacket deep enough to leave your cell phone, a small snack or a wallet. It has a hoodie for rainy and cold days. On the outside of the jacket it has pockets on the left and the right side. Any questions? feel free to ask🙂

The sizing is a bit off
Could not get an answer re sizes so ordered both an L and an XL. L fit torso-wise very well, but was rather tight underneath the arms, even with just a T-Shirt and I don't have big upper arms. So kept the XL which is a bit big around the torso and has slightly, just slightly more room underneath the arms, would still be too tight to wear a thick sweater though... So, in my view, a bit disproportionate sizing. Hood is good, does not get blown off.
