MTT Micro 6000 Flexible Twin Tip

I work on refrigerators for a living and it’s so easy to accidentally burn wires or burn a hole in the lining of the refrigerator when you start out and are using a regular torch end. The twin flame makes replacing evaporators and compressors faster and easier, by heating both sides of the copper tube with a smaller flame. I highly recommend this if you are working in tight spaces or even if you want a cleaner better looking brazed lines.

As an HVAC tech, I usually use a standard #2 tip. I had imagined this would be like two #1 tips or similar. It is more like dual 0 (ought) tips. Very small, which could be a detriment or a plus depending on circumstances. While it says it is "flexible", it is flexible in the way that all copper is flexible. It bends. Still a very useful addition to the old toolbox, I just wish it was a little larger.

Welding copper tubing tip’s keep popping and won’t weld right

Great little tip for refrigerator and freezer repair it can get into tight places without burning everything up around it. In my opinion best brazing tip ever made.

Works good on 1/2" copper. A larger tip like this for victor style torches would be great for brazing larger copper .

I like the ability to heat the front and back, or the top and bottom of a joint at one time. This really helps speed up the brazing process for me, which reduces heat transfer to other components. the tips are easily adjustable, I have brazed lines ranging from 1/8" to 3/4" and just bend the tips to tailor the flame spread. I have a variety of tips for my oxy/acet. and b-tank setup, this is my favorite so far.

Great for tight spaces, especially under small beverage coolers.
