Vanicream Conditioner, Mild Formula for Sensitive Scalps, 12 Fl Oz

This is a great conditioner. I was skeptical at first because I am not a 'clean'/natural skincare advocate and do happen to like silicone heavy hair products for shine, slip, and moisture. While this isn't that, it works just as well. My hair is not tangly with this, it rinses out well, and my hair is left clean, light, conditioned, and shiny. I don't react at all to this conditioner. The product is opaque white, has a lighter consistency, certainly not watery or anything but closer to a lotion than a hair mask. Sometimes fragrance free products are almost violently fragrance free where you can smell every chemical that makes up the thing and its nearly repulsive, just this earthy chemically mess, and you think, 'wow I guess this is what I have to deal with if I want fragrance free'. I love that this is NOT that. It smells like nothing, maybe if I had to say something just the teeniest, TINIEST (I can't stress this enough, tiny) touch sweet, the kind of sweet of barbie doll skin, same as what all not gross fragrance free lotions smell like to me, just so, so, so very light you could've imagined it. Really just nothing. That's a huge plus. The pump dispenser works well enough, no issues there. I only wish the bottle was bigger.

I had to find a new hair conditioner since the brand I had been using for several years decided to change their clean ingredients to not all clean ingredients. After a ton of research, I decided to try this conditioner, along with the matching shampoo. I have 2b hair: naturally dry and wavy (I air dry and do not use any other hair product). This conditioner does not make my hair greasy or oily; I only use twice a week because I only wash my hair twice a week. Keeps my hair feeling soft but not looking limp or slimy. I have been using this conditioner, and the matching shampoo, for several months now. Once I figured out to only use twice a week (due to my hair type) I became a happy girl.

It’s perfect! I have long, low porosity hair. When you apply it, you actually feel the slip on it and everything the way you would with more traditional conditioners. And hair is shiny and smooth the next day. (I do use a satin cap at night also.) And it’s a clean product with no fragrance!

The conditioner is fine, I have a lot of allergies and I do not react to this at all, so that's great. The bottle is terrible, though. Manufacturers, please take note. The product is too thick to squirt out through the top, you have to remove the cap and tap the bottle on something to get it out, which is not very convenient. If it had a normal top like the shampoo, that would be much better.

I love vanicream products for being to the poiny, effective and gluten free. I wasn't expecting much from this but my hair looks and feels so great. I'm on my second bottle of this stuff. I have wavy hair and oily roots, doesn't weigh my hair down at all.

Bought this because it doesn’t have isothiazolinone in it (a preservative that causes rashes for many people). I have very dry hair due to over processing at a salon and hoped I could find a conditioner that let me comb through wet hair, but it didn’t. So I use it, along with “ no more tangles spray Perhaps if someone doesn’t have dry hair like me it would work

Been searching for a while to find a conditioner that does not irritate my skin. Many of them that don't have fragrance still have other ingredients that irritated my skin but after a couple weeks of use. I have not noticed any irritation after using this conditioner.

I have wavy hair with sebderm on my scalp that used to get flare ups from my old conditioner because it contained fragrance, this conditioner however didn’t cause me any troubles and it’s safe to use if you have the same condition as I do , 10/10 will buy again

Nice consistency. Need quite a bit to cover hair. Rinses out well. Would recommend. Pricey but does not have additives that may affect skin and eyes.

I appreciate this product. Don't get me wrong - it is fragrance free and carries none of the silicones. However, my biggest complaint is that this product fails to untangle my hair at regular amounts and thus I finish this product really quickly. I bought a second bottle, refusing to give up on this product so easily but when I realised what really bothered me, I knew I have to opt for something else. Try it, this product doesn't hurt but spend more time considering if you'll want to repurchase it.
