Best solution yet!
I travel to Europe several times a year for work (no, it is not glamorous and it's not fun), which means I end up taking as many comfort items (pillow, blanket, etc.) as I can manage with me for the overseas flight. I've tried many different methods for carrying these items, and each has failed miserably.I also bring a jacket with me to wear on the plane, but I don't want to wear it while I'm in the airport because it's too warm. So I end up trying to hang/wrap/stuff that jacket somewhere while I work my way through the terminal to my gate, onto the plane, and to my seat after stowing my luggage in the overhead bin. The hang/wrap/stuff method has worked so well for me (not) that I actually lost my jacket somewhere between walking into the terminal at LAX and making it to the security line on one of my latest trips. (btw, I bought said jacket on Amazon and I really love it, so much so that I ordered a replacement.) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J9W8S6F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Enter the jacket gripper. For my latest trip a couple of weeks ago, I cinched the jacket gripper around my folded up jacket and clipped the ring to a wire keychain I always have attached to the handle of my bag for whenever it might come in handy, for instance needing something to which I can clip a jacket gripper. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0791DWHTB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1It worked great! In fact, while I was standing in the jetway waiting to board a woman asked me about it. I took the second of the two jacket grippers I ordered and clipped it to a Briggs and Riley strap I had cinched around my travel pillow and blanket. I have finally found my solution for easily bringing these items with me! And when I had to check my bag on a connecting flight (small plane, roll aboard didn't fit), I unclipped the rings from my suitcase and clipped them onto my laptop backpack. Perfect! The straps are sturdy, as are the rings. The fact that part of the clip is metal and part is plastic makes the clip really easy to fasten and release, unlike some full plastic clips I've used that don't "glide" as easily when being fastened/released.I would change just one thing about the jacket gripper: the ring. Because the ring slides around, when I would unclip my jacket from my suitcase or backpack, I would have to spend a minute sliding the ring around until I found the spring part to release it. Since you can remove the ring from the jacket gripper just by opening it and sliding it out, I would recommend replacing it with an S-biner. You can leave one part of the S-biner attached to the jacket gripper and hook the other part to whatever you need.

Disappointed - broke within a month
My spouse flies professionally for a major airline. The functional design of this strap is okay, but the durability is terrible. After less than a month of use, the metal ring snapped while going up an escalator just before duty. Metal this brittle you have to ask yourself whether it might be scavenged from toxic electronic waste (cadmium, etc.) Adding to the disappointment, the product received is not identical to the product shown in the description; the description shows "Jacket Gripper" and you can see in my photo the product brand looks like "Rdeli". Maybe we received a knockoff and the authentic product is better -- but we're not taking a second chance. Looking elsewhere for a reliable solution.

Use to hold a blanket while traveling
Bought these for travel. Specifically to hold a thin fleece blanket for use on the airplane (as I always get cold.) This was the perfect solution! I was able to roll up the blanket and hook it to the outside of my carry-on. This allowed me to quickly attach and unattach it from my bag as needed. Very convenient to keep the blanket rolled up when not being used and like the attached carabiner.Only used twice so far so will update if I find the durability to not be sufficient. But so far perfect for my needs.

Perfect for traveling
They are well made and sturdy. The buckle is metal so it durable and won’t break easily. My husband and I use them to attach our pillows to our backpacks when traveling. We’ve used them many times and love the convenience of not having to carry our pillows.

Holds tight
These items fasten my sweaters and jackets securely to my bag and make traveling a lot easier. No more dropping my wraps on the ground while I’m hurrying to catch a bus or a plane.

Works Great
Didn't use it as intended, it was used to clip my coat to my backpack, a great improvisation that I'm glad I did. The strap is solid and clip will hold any stress put on it. Would recommend for its intended use to attach and drag another suitcase.

Great quality.
I wear a backpack handbag which is great for keeping my hands-free while I'm out running errands, shopping with the kids, etc. However, when I walk for longer periods my bag sags down my back and pulls on my armpits. Enter this clasp strap. I clipped the ring around one strap, allowing me to catch the other in the strap and buckle it securely shut across my collarbones. The hardware and construction is sturdy and good quality. As a result, my handbag sits snugly on my back while the straps sit comfortably across my shoulders, and some of their weight is distributed through my chest. Best of all, as my handbag is black the clasp strap looks like just part of the bag, discreet and functional. Would recommend.
