They sort of hug your head like a little pillow and its way better than a sleep mask with a elastic strap at the back that can be uneasy and pull your hair. The only problem might be that the velcro at the back might be a little too long and it sticks out if you want the mask to be a little loser on your eyes, and the loop side (the hard side ofthe velcro is stitched outwards and sticks out so it will attach to your pillow case, sheets etc if you wear it lose and when it's not shielded. They could have easily prevented this problem by stitching the velcro the other way around.

I was worried that this eye mask was going to be uncomfortable but I was wrong. It is so soft and does not make my face hot. Yes I probably look funny wearing it but I don't have to look at myself! I wore the basic eye mask for years but this one is so much better and blocks out all light since it curves down on the sides of my nose. Love this mask!

bought for my boyfriend, that’s a workaholic falling asleep in his chair every morning, perfectly comfy, is not tight, or uncomfortable, or falls off, is light and not heavy on your face, you barely notice it’s on your face when you fall asleep, and it doesn’t get really hot either. totally would buy again for any insomniacs, workaholic day sleepers. thank you

It's very thick but not chunky. It's very soft to the skin. It has a big ajustment range with the long Velcro in the back. Would highly recommend!

Love the shape, deep eye space so that the mask does not lay against your eyelids or eyelashes, nose area is shaped to help keep light from seeping in around your nose
