I wasn't too sure about this pillow at first because even after having it sit out for a couple of days it was full of hard clumps and felt half empty. After I opened it up, however, and broke apart the clumps with my hands and then put it in the dryer to fluff up for awhile, the foam expanded and it became very nice to use. I can't use standard memory foam pillows as they feel way too hard but the shredded foam ones are nice. The foam in this one is very finely shredded which makes it more comfortable than the blocky cut foam ones. It does make it quite a bit more messy though to remove some as static electricity makes the tiny foam pieces stick to everything and go everywhere.

It took me a few minutes to fluff my pillow out from shipping. I got this because a friend said her My Pillow was the best thing she had ever used. I didn't want to spend that much money, so I found something similar. I'm so glad I did! I had tried a regular memory foam because I couldn't sleep and it didn't really help. when I got this pillow, it shifts and shapes to however you want it to form to your head. I am honestly sleeping so much more soundly and I don't wake up with a sore neck. It's dense and really well made. I'm buying a second for my husband and one for my dad. The fabric is so soft too, but I don't use the little pillow case that comes with it. I've used so many different types of pillows, but this by far has been the best.

I usually don’t buy anything with so few reviews but I thought I’d give it a chance.When I received the pillow it came rolled and it was packaged really nicely just like the description stated. I unzipped it to check out the stuffing and everything appeared fine. I let it lay flat on a hard surface for over 24 hrs. It did fluff up a little but not much. I picked it up at the side and it felt like there was a lot of stuffing missing. I tried to move the stuffing around and layed my head on it but the pillow is super lumpy and not comfortable at all. This wouldn’t even support a child’s head. There’s at least a third of stuffing missing.I will be returning it.

I got this pillow yesterday and the compressed foam fluffed nicely with the help of a cool trip thru the dryer. I like that the foam can be removed to meet your personal comfort level. To avoid the mistake I made however, carefully read the complete, rather misleading description. Note the term “machine washable” and how it is used. It refers to the outer pillow case only....the pillow filling itself is NOT washable. A washable pillow case. Um, ok then. While it is comfortable so far, I don’t like the fact it’s not washable and will use it for only a year at the longest. I won’t go into a screed about dead skin cells, perspiration and all that, but the fact that the pillow will be in contact with hair and skin products on a nightly basis is enough to make me know this pillow will have a limited lifespan in my bed.

I have a really expensive memory foam and gel pillow with a bamboo cover that im pretty sure this is trying to duplicate although i can tell a huge difference between them this is ok for the price my only real complaint is i wish this one had more stuffing because i like my pillows on the fat and firm side and in my oppinion this is half stuffed and also a fair warning there is very fine shreaded memory foam in the pillow the biggest piece i seen was about a 1/4 inch "cube" but all in all it is a good pillow

First, this took a lot longer to "fluff up" and for the odor to dissipate than suggested, but unless you are needing the pillow NOW, that's OK. I did find, following the directions and putting just the pillow part in the dryer (without the cover on) did fluff it up a bunch. But I agree the zippers seem fragile, so I used extra precautions when opening and closing the zippers, and especially when inserting the pillow back in it's cover. Pillow tends to be a bit lumpy if you don't fluff it every day (but most the time I can just do that by hand). But it IS mouldable and once you get it the way you want it it is very comfortable. I like it better than the moulded memory foam pillows tha don't allow adjustments.

I always have trouble finding comfortable pillows.. I have been given some of the more expensive ones as gifts. I have paid as much as $35 or so myself... I was very interested in the "shredded memory foam" concept Liuked the idea of being able to add or remove foam for a custom adjustment.. .. So started shopping around Wow a lot of those are very expensive... Saw this one for a great price and decided to give it a try ..... Perfect for me ....

If you were thinking of something like a MyPillow, CONSIDER THESE FIRST! These have a removable loft just like MyPillows do. These fluff up HUGE and are incredibly comfortable. Gone are my morning tension headaches and tossing and turning. They sleep very cool and the soft outer cover removes for easy washing. My only complaint was that they come so tightly compressed, it took me a solid 15 minutes per pillow to break up all the memory foam inside, even after tossing it in the dryer for a while. Not a single regret on this purchase!
