2.5'' 750GB Ultra Slim Portable External Hard Drive USB3.0 HDD Storage for PC/Desktop/Laptop/MacBook/Chromebook/Xbox One (Black)

I bought this after reading reviews that stated that it was easy to hook up to the Xbox One. Once I received it, I plugged it in and tried to get it to link. The Xbox didn't even recognize it was plugged in. Then I noticed that there was a light that lit up ONLY if I held the cord a certain way. Thinking it was a cord issue, we tried a replacement cord. The new cord didn't work, either. The connector was very loose inside the drive, and it would wiggle if not held just right. It would not hold a connection long enough to connect to the Xbox One. I ended up returning it and getting a name brand product for a similar price, and that one connected instantly.

I bought this to do backups to my computer daily. I do not know if this is a problem with my computer or the drive. I just bought my computer in November of this year so I am hoping it is not an issue with the USB ports on my computer (I have tried different ports to see if it would make a difference and it does not). I put my computer on hibernate at night. When I take it out of hibernation the next day, the external hard drive is not connected. I have to disconnect it and plug it back in to a USB port and then it works. It is kind of a nuisance to do this every day. Is this an issue with the hard drive??

This worked fine for awhile and the transfer speeds were awesome, but then it kept giving me the file corruption error and telling me it needs to be reformatted. Well I backed it up and reformatted it and then it gave me the error again a few weeks later. I do not have this issue with my Toshiba external HDD. Also a note that this will not work as an XboxOne HDD. After the second reformat I decided to give that a try and it will not work.

Won't format. Half the time will not be recognized by Windows 7. Was able to get it to format once in NTFS file system through disk management. Still cannot copy files to it. It just times out after 1 hour of trying to copy files. Other removable drives and USB hard drives work with this computer, so definitely a problem with this USB hard drive.

First one sent crapped out on me but I had a replacement the next day. Awesome customer service and delivery speed! Easy to format to the xbox one and takes up minimal space. Thought I'd have concerns with how hot it gets but it's really tough.

It is in another language that I can't even read! And it was accessed in August, why? I thought it was brand new, not used by someone else first!
