I recently installed the Feniex Typhoon Handheld Siren & Controller in my vehicle, and it’s been an outstanding addition to my emergency response setup. Right out of the box, the unit feels well-built and purpose-designed for real-world use — compact enough to fit in tight spaces, yet rugged and ready for frequent operation. One of the things I love most about this system is how intuitive the handheld controller is. The programmable backlit buttons make it easy to activate tones and auxiliary functions even in low light, and the integrated PA microphone adds real flexibility without needing extra accessories. The siren itself delivers clear, loud tones that cut through road noise and get attention quickly — perfect for emergency or volunteer use. Installation was straightforward. I was able to conceal the amplifier neatly and just bring the controller cable up to the dash. Heard about the Typhoon from a coworker. Absolutely phenomenal unit. Volunteer Firefighter, had a cheap siren for a little while that worked and was an absolutely miserable experience to wire and work with. I made it work, but the slightest movement to the cheap siren and there goes all my lights and siren functionality. Decided it was time to upgrade, and upgrade is such an under-statement. Wiring up the Feniex Typhoon Handheld was the easiest thing I've ever done. There's not a lot of hassle, and if you already have lights and/or siren speaker wires run through your vehicle, I promise you it won't take more than 20 minutes to set up. It's sturdy and durable, fantastic wire connections, and has beautiful tones. Plus, I don't think anyone is upset over a few funny tones, lol. Probably my only complaint is the wiring diagram, and not incorporating what needs to happen with ground wires, but we'll chuck that up to my own inexperience for argument's sake. (By the way, learned that even when connecting lights to a Function Button, connect the positive wire to the button terminal on the siren, and the ground wire to the battery. Just in case anyone else was looking!) Before you spend money on a top name-brand or just go cheap with the 'if it works it works' sentiment, give the Typhoon a shot. It's an amazing and easy to setup unit with perfect tones. Can't recommend enough.

Good quality and great loud sound

It’s definitely loud and works great. Easy to set up. Pretty decent for the money. Feels a little cheap. It’s nice size feels good in the hand. The button lights aren’t too bright ether.

For starters, I have a single cab truck and not a lot of room. This siren is tucked away behind the seat and out of view. The only thing seen is the remote. The stickers don't really like to stick to the buttons in the South Caroline heat. I have had to send it back one time for warranty repair. The handheld controller was not responding to any input. I called Feniex support and they were happy to assist me. I paid the shipping to return to them and about a week to a week and a half later, I had it back. They did not tell me what was wrong with it. Other than those minor things I like it.

Very happy with the siren. My main reason for purchase was so I did not have to drill holes in my 2018 f150 Lariat for switches or other siren heads. This unit was installed under my rear bench seats and I jist ran controller wire to my center console. Build quality is great, not cheap looking. The installation was very simple, did not require instructions. The only cheap part is the controller mount which is cheap and flimzy, wish ot came with screws as it requires low profile head screws so it does not stick up as it gets in way of controller, but not a big deal at all. I also used a 40amp relay as well as some trailer diodes to make 1 switch activate all of my.lights at once, and then also be able to turn on each light individually with remaining switches. I hooked into my factory mirror spot lights on my 2018 f150 and used the wigwage function which was flawless.

Great siren. Has multiple siren sounds. I like that it can be programmed to the sirens you want. You can also program the sounds to activate as long as you hold the button or you can program it to just a click of the button will activate the siren. Great price for everything that is packed into this little siren.

At first I was overwhelmed by this product but it’s actually a lot simpler than I made it out to be. With some YouTube videos and a better explanation. Adding lights was a breeze. Fabulous product and I enjoy embarrassing the kids as I drop them off at work!

Delivered quick. Advertised had Ecto siren however appears not to be the case.

The unit works, there no issue with it but if you expect after sales service? Forget this company I was going to give it a 2 star, but this is about the unit, not the company

Good siren thanks

I love the look of it, never hooked it up. I have written e-mails to the company asking if I can hook up a cb or 2way. Not one single reply back so I guess I'm sending the unit back 😔 I have 6 trucks in my fleet and I was going to buy six of them but when you can't get the company to talk to you to ask questions and the instructions for are pretty minimal and basic.
