Dont give up. This book will touch you on so many levels
I started this book about 4 pages in and thought. This is silly. I put it down and started another book. For some reason I couldnt get it out of my head. I preserved. So glad I did....This book isn't for everyone but it touched me on so many levels. Thank you Sarah Weeks for giving me some life lessons in a book full of strength and hope and the belief in people.A strange review and not detailed but it is a review which hopefully will leave the reader to find out for themselves what the book is about and I know it will touch you on some level.

Recommended for 11-14 year olds
Great for 11-14 yrs girls . An independent resourceful heroine in the modern world. The female characters in the book are varied and inspiring, kind and well characterised. The story of searching for who you really are is perfect for the young teen.

well written feel good story
Although this book is supposed to me aimed at the teenager reader, I found it a very good read for myself! Having been unable to do much over the last couple of months, following an accident, I have read a lot more. This book certainly help keep my mind off my injury, was easy to read and for me was esacpism, which is why I gave it 5 stars!Although sometimes a little predictable, it still had twist and turns, humerous moments and sadness all built in. But it provided me with the sort of read I enjoyed and in a way I could relate to it, through personal experience!Anyone reccomend someting similar please? I am looking for another book, that can provide the same kind of feelings.

Heidi is a twelve-year-old girl who is being raised by Bernadette, who is like her guardian. Twelve years ago, Heidi's mom knocked on a stranger's door and said that she had a "bum brain," had nowhere to live, and was holding a baby.Bernadette takes care of Heidi and her mom, who claims that her name is "So B. It." Heidi now wants to learn more about her mom, so she takes a road trip, by herself, to find out more about her mother's mysterious past. She doesn't really know where she is going, so she just goes wherever the path takes her. But even as little as Heidi knows about her mother, she loves her. This book reminded me a lot of WALK TWO MOONS, because the storyline is similar. That a good thing in my opinion, because I love that book! At the beginning of SO B. IT, you are kind of like "okay, get on with it," but then the story gets interesting. This is a simple yet complicated book, which makes it very interesting.Reviewed by: Taylor Rector
