Spa Choice, Seal A Leak
Soon after I bought a Calavera 4-person hot tub, I realized there was a minor leak. Eventually, I drew a pencil line along the water where the leakage stopped. Subsequently, I found out the tub lost a gallon of water every day.The manufacturer sent a technician to repair the leak, but he arrived too late in the evening. They then sent a second technician who said, "because there was no water in the electrical compartment, there was no leak." I disagreed. He said, "you don't have to agree. I've been doing this for 20 years." I then asked him twice, "why does the leakage stop at the line I drew? He did not answer at all.I then bought a bottle of Spa Choice, Seal a Leak. I bought this because the application was simple when compared to some other similar products. For the first time, I used it as shown on the bottle. This product worked. It's been more than 70 hours since I applied the Seal a Leak. There has been no leak at all.

worked for me
Small leak somewhere inaccessible in my 22 year old spa. Probably not more than 24 oz/day, but nevertheless a daily spreading puddle. Called a few of the spa repair guys I have used in the past, several out of business and the one that returned the call said to try this product. I did pour more than half of the bottle into the filter port, let it circulate over night. Then followed with a "spa flush" product, drained and refilled. No leak. Nice.

Be patient
I have a 400 gallon, 17 year old hot tub. At least two Jet seals started leaking right after Fall startup (I drain and shut down hot tub during summer.). Thought I would try this instead of draining and crawling underneath. First thing, the recommended one ounce for 400 gallons seems like not enough, and it's not. I used two ounces initially. 24 hours later, no difference. I put in 3 more ounces. 24 hours later I did notice the leak slowing down. I added two more ounces. 24 hours later, the leak had stopped. I topped off the tub and added chemicals. One week later, it was slowly leaking again. I added about two more ounces, then 24 hours later, added two more ounces, and within 2 more days, the leak had stopped again. One month later, I am writing this review.Bottom line, it did work. But no way is one or two ounces going to work. I saw one person say he dumped the whole bottle (16 oz) in at once. I think slowly adding a couple ounces every 24-36 hours until it stops would work better. I used about 12 ounces over about two weeks total. Patience is key. It took a while, but easier than trying to find and reseal the leaking jet seals. That will be a summer job. Will update this review if/when it starts leaking again.

This product is crap!
I had just a minor leak in my hot tub and was having to add a little water only once a week so I purchased this product to seal it up! I followed the directions to the letter! The next morning, my hot tub was 1/2 way down & I could literally see the water running from beneath the tub! This product only made my leak 20 times worst! This product is crap! Literally! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! After doing 4 applicatons, I thought it would finally seal the leak. I did not! I then purchased Marlig fix a leak. After only 1 application, the leak has completely stopped. No more water loss. DO NOT PURCHASE SPA CHOICE SEAL A LEAK. It is garbage.... Get the Marlig product...

Did not work on my hot tub
I bought 2 bottles and had to repeat the process numerous times until they were empty and the leak still remained. I used to buy a different product on Amazon that worked everytime and it is not available.

I would highly recommend trying this if your leak is small
I had a small leak that was driving me crazy for about a year but I was really not looking forward to tearing the hottub apart to find and fix the leak, Out of shear desperation I tried this and much to my surprise it worked. I would highly recommend trying this if your leak is small. I had a constant steady drip and had to add water at least once every two weeks. No leak at all now.
