DEWALTMens Millington Waterproof Composite Toe Work

Approximately 3.5 years of wearing in the garden without a problem.
I have had these boots for about 3.5 years. I wear them regularly to work in the garden, probably 2 or 3 times a week. They are comfortable and the leather has worn well. I occasionally use a Dubbin type of shoe/boot wax on the leather to help maintain it. They have remained watertight and the leather and soles are still in good condition. However, the lining inside both boots, in the region of the heel, has recently torn and has come away from the inside of the leather outers. However, I tend to be hard on footwear so I think this pair of boots has lasted as well as I could hope and have kept my feet dry.

Good boot
These are great and comfy.I had a pair of cat rigger boots before these but the leather material they used was hard to keep clean and tore easily, they also lost comfort very quickly.I've been using these fore few months now and I'm impressed

Five Star Bog Stompers
Gotta be the wettest, muddiest, squelchiest winter ever! Walking the dog has been like wading through a bog! Took a punt on these boots and love them!Super warm and comfy. Look stylish. Really hard wearing and holding up well after a month. Hose them down daily and they are 100% waterproof.Only niggle is that they are prob half a size too big. I’m always a 9 but these 9s are just a little bit loose. They are also fine to drive in.

2 pairs in a year with the same issues.
Initially out of the box they are comfortable and feel good even after a 12 hour shift. They stay dry in the early days and give the impresssion of quality. 4-5 months in and there is an annoying squelch every other step and at the end of a shift my feet feel damp and relieved to be set free. The heel starts to wear out internally and everytime the boots come off you need to be super careful not to rip the liner completely open. Another month later and the boots feel painful by the 3rd shift of the week and rub on the side of my feet. This is with wearing thick boot socks.I really liked them at the start and wanted to try another pair, exactly the same things happened again in pretty much the same time frame. This would suggest to me that its a design / materials issue and probably common to see these boots start to fail 6-8 months in, with not very much being asked of them, other than walking around and resisting some water ingress now and again. Not really good at this price point, if they were £30-£35, I wouldnt mind but I would expect to see a full working year at least before having to replace.I will not be buying them anymore and would recommend looking at a different boot if you are stretching your budget looking for something solid. If however, money is not an issue and you are happy to replace every 6 months, they are a decent choice.
