City Brew Cool River - Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - 2Lb

Upon opening/grinding for initial brewing - this blend tasted robust and reasonably smooth, similar for the first week. That abruptly changed afterward, becoming seriously acidic and to my taste undesirable. Heed the producer's advice on the packaging to use within 1 week of opening, as storing the remaining beans frozen in sealed bags does not prevent or slow oxidation/deterioration. Hard to beat Starbucks French Roast for longevity.

I buy and try the search for "the " cup of coffeeHad read 7/11 and others use thisThought I'd try. It's drinkable, but falls short of what I'm looking forAt $13 lb,will finish bag, but will move on. Like I said it's drinkable

This coffee is not too strong and it's is not bitter. The price is not bad, either!

We LOVE city brew coffee!! We fell in love during our trip to Montana and Starbucks just doesnt cut it for us anymore. So happy to be able to get our City Brew fix here in Michigan!

My wife and I wanted to try a new coffee and came across this one and gave it a try.We are so glad we did! I don't think we could have picked a better coffee.

I typically like darker roasts but these beans were roasted far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. They were extremely oily out of the bag and tasted very bitter after they were brewed. If that’s your thing then you’ll love these beans. It’s just not mine.

Great flavor. Smooth and robust flavor. Great for French Press and drip.
