I haven’t used them much but I love the bone. It has a very soft tone especially for being a stiff thicker pick. The ebony is almost scratchy sounding and all the others just seem like an average thick pick.

Not your average picks ,each one a uniquely diverse sound and playability. if your "tone chasing" these give may an option.

Pretty awesome set of plectrums. While I didn't care for each and every material, they all offer a different feel and unique tonal opportunities. Definitely worth a try.

they are really pretty and nice and they come in different materials. which i like. but they are really thick. it isnt too bad because you get used to it after an hour or two and that means it's more durable. they are pretty too

My daughter is learning to play guitar and loved the design and look of these picks. She loved the different thickness and patterns that each of the materials displayed. She also enjoyed comparing the different tones and levels of crisp output from each type. She plays an acoustic guitar and is still working on her strumming patterns. Sometimes she gets a little rough, but these held up well to her daily practice and fun sessions. I've read that the wood ones will wear a little faster than the bone, but since all she has ever used is plastic, we will have to wait this one out to determine the longevity of each. Honestly, they will probably be lost before they ever have a chance to become too worn for use. As a parent, I searched out something to help her with precision and chords and am happy with this choice. She is able to grasp it more easily and the grip is better when she gets a little sweaty versus using a plastic pick that gets slippery.

I would have loved these picks even without ever seeing them being used! I love products made from various kinds of wood, and it's so cool having a sampler of woods in any form. I almost wanted to just keep these as a display, maybe find a frame for them, but my older son is a pretty good guitar player, and he took them for his playing! He said they are very good picks. He likes the feel of wood in his hands while playing, and likes experimenting with how the different woods feel and affect his playing. Just a very cool set, at a very reasonable price.
