It took a long 3 weeks to get here - from India (NOT China!) and the wait was well worth it. I am making a pulley for an antique, pre-metric spinning wheel that has left handed threads. In ordering this tap and die set, I didn't know what I was going to run into. All that I knew was that the internal threads were left handed and 1/4". The trap and die kit just comes in a cardboard box. The individual sizes are individually wrapped and there is no fancy box. I opened the 1/4" box and found not one but 3 taps for 14-20 (a most common threading size in right handed threads, of course). I cut the pilot hole in the brass sleeve with a #7 drill bit. The tap sailed right through it with minimal turning effort required - and I have 3 more of them! I have several tap and die kits and metric and English, all from China, and none of them match this quality -- and you will never ever get more than one of each size in any kit. Now, for the dies, there was only 1 each of them and, no, I didn't test out each tap and die. But from this singular experience, if you are in the unusual need to cut English left handed threads, I highly recommend these.
