I'm stuck with four of these unused because it was after 30 days when the door man came to install all of my new interior doors he would only use these on one of my doors. He said that these are not good for doors and instead I ran to Ace hardware and bought the kind that you screw into the baseboard apparently this style is not good he said for doors? So I will give the four I have to a family member these are not cheap. The kind you screw into the baseboard are cheaper.

We needed a replacement hinge for the pantry door and this was perfect.Believe it or not this was the backup purchase. The first hinge I bought was a chore to install and didn’t work correctly.Luckily, I had purchased this one as well. I planned on returning it if the cheaper hinge didn’t work. It was a little more expensive but worth the money. I recommend it.

In use it will keep a door from opening more than 100 degrees so if fine if the door is only going to be opened part way. It will not work for a door that is parallel to the wall and needs to open 180 degrees. I ended up using a large bumper on the wall instead.

Better than screwing into wall. Vacuuming is easier without having a doorstop sticking out from the wall.

So far working well, bought 30 of these

I don't like to have to use these things but sometimes there is no other alternative. Some are cheap with terrible finishes but this one is of good quality.

More sturdy than those available in Sears or Home Depot however it is more expensive.
