Surprisingly awesome soap.
I read some reviews on this as I'm having eczema issues and looking for soaps. Decided to give it a try. At first the smell was strong like a Bon Fire.... And it seemed OK. Wasn't sure how long I'd tolerate the smell and certainly not if I didn't see positive results. After about a month of using it I'm used to the smell....and awkwardly enjoy it LOL... But my skin loves this soap.... I can't believe how good my skin feels using it. Highly recommend. I also recommend not getting the bar of soap or your whole house will smell weird. Get the plastic tube of it. Smell doesn't stick around long on your skin.... Rinse the shower well after. Best I can do for a review. I'd like to buy cases of this stuff in case they stop making it.

THE BEST
Grandpa's Pine Tar line is the best. I first received the bar soap as a gift from a friend, and immediately needed more. I've been using it for about 10 years now. When I discovered that there was a body wash available, of course I needed to try it. Just as good as the bar soap and has the same fragrance. I just ordered the shampoo and conditioner, and can't wait to add them into my arsenal. My girlfriend even uses the bar soap as a face wash. This stuff is the best!

Great for dry, itchy skin
This does a lovely job on dry winter skin. It doesn't smell pretty, of course, but the scent doesn't linger when your skin is dry. I'm happier with this soap than with the much more expensive body washes I use during the summer. I'd use it year-round, but I confess: I like those pretty scents.

It wasnt a bad product it did help out initially just stopped working for me personally. I still use the apple cider scent from this brand.

The best!
Smells like smoke and is amazing . This product is simply amazing I bought 2 and after the first shower bought more and different products. Will do a sub of this Pin Tar. You smell great and feel really clean. Took away that winter itch and dry skin.

Smells like medicated tires.
This body wash does not smell like “pine” like you’re probably use to or thinking of hoping it smelling like. It does make you feel very clean but not worth smelling like medicated tires, literally smells like rubber and menthol.

Thick, sudsy, smoky-smelling
Dry skin in winter-time along with psoriasis was driving a family member crazy. Bought both, Grandpa's pine-tar shampoo & body wash. Smell's exactly like a wood fire but not unpleasant & seems to work nicely with apricot oil afterwards on damp skin. Would buy again.

Interesting Scent
I assume everything cleans OK and buy stuff by scent. I really like pine tar scented body wash, shampoo, etc. Packers is the most pine tar scented, Squatch is a somewhat distant second, but Grandpa is different. Te addition of tea tree oil and cedarwood to the pine tar scent makes for a more subtle fragrance. It's like the difference between Macallan and Laphroaig 10 (IYKYK).
