This shelf/lamp is everything I wanted it to be. It is unique and functional but not too big--it makes a nice statement. I have a heavy (but compact) statue on the bottom shelf as an anchor and a couple of lightweight vases on the top shelves. It was very easy to assemble (I put it together myself) and only took 20 mins. The lighting is suttle but perfect and makes the room feel warm and inviting. Will purchase another one to go in my bedroom next. It is not cheap and flimsy like a few people said. If you properly assemble it and use a feather duster weekly instead of wiping the dust with a rag it will last a while. You will not regret this purchase, it's SOOO CUTE!!

I like that it is incandescent as the light from the 60-watt bulb is comfortable lighting. The lamp shade is great as a good light softener. It was east to assemble and fit nicely. I like that the threaded inserts in the wood poles had some "flex" in how they fit. This allowed for nice fitted connections. CAUTION: Take care not to OVERTIGHTEN the poles onto the threaded connectors. The wood is soft and is very compliant. A nice snug-tight fit is enough to get the good assembly that you want ...without breaking anything. After I carefully and gently assembled my lamp, I'm very happy with the results.

First, get the listing right, Amazon. This is clearly listed as a floor lamp with three shelves, but in the product description it is described six times as a table lamp; the first customer review shows a different product--with a photo--of table lamps which she has mounted on the wall. Very pretty, but not the same as this. I might want the table lamp too, but this is the floor lamp--a different product.I bought it on sale and got much more for my money than a different small Asian-style table lamp I bought which cost almost as much. This is a floor lamp with a shade and 3 shelves. It feels sturdy. It's worth the money just for the shelves alone. It is attractive enough to put in the living room. A good amount of light (100 watt bulb or equivalent). and I will put collectibles or books in the shelves. Very pleased with that aspect. Small footprint and two would look great in place of side tables. This would also be nice in a bathroom and great for a dorm room.Which is good because the one hangup is the pendant lamp didn't work. It has a chain-pull chord that feels stiff when you pull it, and then it didn't turn the light on. I tried it in two separate light sockets and with three types of bulbs and none of them ever lit it up. Fortunately when I notified the seller he promptly replied that he would send me a new corded bulb socket (I didn't want to have to disassemble the whole lamp and send it back). I haven't gotten it though and if he sends it and it works I will upgrade the rating from 4 stars to 5 stars and may buy another.It does require assembly and you have to get the double-headed screws in just the right amount so if you're diy-challenged it wasn't the easiest to assemble, but not hard either and well worth the effort. It's painted wood and doesn't look like plastic. The wood is a little dinged here and there but I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been looking for it. I would rather have a hand switch on the cord and I wish there were another coat of varnish or paint for protection--seems thin--although it is a nice matte surface. The shade is linen-looking paper; it's okay but I would prefer a Washi or similar textured, higher quality paper and might even go to the art store, buy the paper and make one which would be easy.

Let me start by saying that I really dislike putting things together. When I saw the box I wondered how could a lamp be in this box. The pieces were in the box. I was able to put it together with no problem. Only one screw gave me an issue, but since there was another shelf to put on, it held the screw that seemed to be somewhat stripped into the pole quite well. The height is nice. The lamp shade is a nice thickness. The wingnut took me a little while to tighten it because it was uneven and not tight enough at first. I didn't want to over screw and then it would have been flopping when I turned on the lamp. It is a nice piece.

So I'm a fan of this specific design. I've had maybe 4 different lamps in my lifetime that visually look identical. Two were plastic, one was metal and the other wood (this one). Any self assembly lamp of this specific design will seem flimsy and wobbly as you have 4 thin legs stacked and screwed together on each corner (12 legs in total) supported by 3 thin shelf plates.I tend to only use this as a night stand next to by bed.

Nice lamp

These aren’t the sturdiest lamps out there but for the price they’re definitely worth a try. I ordered two and they work perfectly in my den. The shelves are thin and have a limited weight capacity but with just a couple decorative odds and ends on them they are holding up great for me. I can’t comment on the longevity of the lamps as I received them about a month ago. And I don’t use the switches on them since I have smart bulbs in them and just have my echo dot to control them. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive decorative floor lamp with shelves.

Super très satisfaite

I'm using this next to the bed as a place to charge everything overnight. I have laptop, tablets, phone, watch that I use regularly and with so many shelves, they all fit under the lamp. The lamp takes standard bulbs. I'm using warm LED ones and they work well.The key point is you can place tons of gadgets on the shelves and organize the USB charging cables to charge them. It's a great way to replace a single night table with a lot less shelf space.

Very easy assembly and it looks more expensive than it was.

Works perfectly as a speaker shelf in an odd corner. Love that it’s style fits nicely with the theme I’m looking for.Main downside is there is no assembly instructions. Luckily I’m kind of handy so it only took me about 1/2 hour to figure out and assemble it. Only other downside is how the routing of power cable is designed. Could be improved on.
