This book is awesome. Great learning tool. Great resource. Great layout. I love the differentiation and variety of treatment options presented. I own many books on pattern differentiation including Practical Therapeutics by Fischer and Wu, which was the preferred book of many of my teachers, and I find the CHIM series far more applicable and varied in both patterns and explanation. Practical Therapeutics is a good book to have but this series, which has 3 volumes, is far more comprehensive. Being a student of Chinese medicine I am always in search of good books. ^_^

This book has a lot of relevant information, it is concise and very organized. It is a great point of reference to have in your clinic as it includes TCM diagnosis as well as comparable western biomedicine diagnosis as well.

Will Maclean's knowledge of the subject is impeccable and thorough in all the volumes of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine he has written.

This is a well written book with lots of great information. I would highly recommend to have as an excellent reference to diagnosis and treatment.
