Great Product. I needed to replace a coupler on my new dump trailer so that the S5 Coupler Lock could be used. It was easy to install and everything fits perfect.

I liked how substantial this was. I bought 2 of these to replace a 2" ball on a new trailer to match all the other trailers in our fleet. They were perfect.

These are great. It takes the safety question out of the equation with our crews hooking up trailers and know that they are latched correctly. I have these on every trailer we have now.

I picked this up to replace the other coupler on my Big Tex trailer (other coupler was a CURT 25330 style one). My old coupler had developed play, and through a Big Tex dealer, I confirmed this is the replacement.Easy to install, HOWEVER, for max capacity, you need to use (4) grade 8 bolts through the coupler & trailer channel. You can use just 2 long bolts, but then the coupler won't be able to reach max capacity (but should be plenty for a 1/4 ton truck like a 1500/150).Demco sells a hardware kit for this coupler for ~$25. Or, do what I did and hit up your local hardware store (Ace generally has a good selection) for some grade 8 bolts, nylock nuts, and washers.Another thing... So, the Demco hardware kit contains bolts that are about 1.75" long. These are virtually impossible to find. I would up using 2" long bolts w/ 2 washers for each bolt, which provided JUST ENOUGH space between each bolt on the inside of the coupler.This trailer is also dummy-proof to latch... Remove the pin (not included) and simply lower the coupler onto the ball on your tow vehicle. It automatically pops up, then down and locks itself into place. As long as the latch is flat against the coupler, you're good. To uncouple, flip up the latch and raiser the trailer.

Made it nice to mirror my other trailers so that I do not need to remember to change my hitch balls around. This eliminates a what could be a bad day if I forgot.

Very heavy duty easy to install.

I replaced my old triangle style hitch with this one. The old hitch had developed a lot of slop that made me uncomfortable, and there was no way to repair. This hitch is well made and provides a firm connection. I am now replacing all of my hitches with this model. One suggestion: I painted the end white, which makes it much easier to see and align in the back up camera.
