This is one of my favorite things to gift. Beautiful leather book. Small enough to carry around or keep on coffee table. Very encouraging and love that you can pick up and flip to a page and read.

I bought this as a gift for my mom for her birthday. She liked the gift. It was just as i expected. I have seen these and used them before, and it was the same things as ones you would buy from a store. I love all the variety of liturgies that it has. It can be fun to read through and laugh at some. Yet, it reminds you that you can pray and bring any situation to God.

In a nutshell: this is the book I come to time and again and gift to friends for any occasion! I tried loaning it out a couple times, but it never lasted long because I found myself needing it within the first week it was borrowed. Beautiful book with beautiful words and illustrations. I love the verses in every margin. The entire series is spectacular. When at a loss for words, I open up a liturgy and read it to myself or aloud with the family. We've also used it to center everyone or bring everyone together in the beginning or end of a group gathering.

This is such a poignant applicable guide to prayers I wouldn't have otherwise prayed. This book has helped me see how every moment can be an opportunity for prayer.

Sometimes we simply need another person's words echoing in our hearts, especially when our own are hard to come up with. The richness and beauty and simplicity of this collection of prayers is superb. I've given it as a gift and it is always well-received. Personally, it delights me that the author does not restrict himself to 'nice' or 'easy' topics. Check out the table of contents for a quick peek into what is fair game for these honest and vulnerable prayers. Try reading them out loud for a visceral sense of with-God-ness.

I might be a book dragon - I love to collect beautiful books for my shelves, but this one has the bonus of being a really well written book. If you like Bless the Space Between Us - I think this series is better. The other one is a nice read for personal thoughts, this collection is beautiful liturgy for worship planning, group devotions, and centering moments for groups. It is also a nice read for personal thoughts. There seems to be a blessing for every event. As a worship leader I appreciate being able to grab these books and know I'll find what I need. Thank you for binding them in a beautiful cover. Well worth it. Keep them coming.

This is such a wonderful book to read randomly throughout the day, rather than in just one sitting.. and I love the smooth cover! I'm so glad that I purchased a print copy.

I love the book, it is exactly for the purpose I bought it

I have already bought several copies of the book and given them away as presents. It is beautifully bound in a leather type cover, the illustrations are simple and lovely, but the prayers for just about every possible scenario in our daily lives are just perfect. I have always had difficulty in my prayer-life, having been brought up on the cathecism and prayer book of my denomination. Prayer is supposed to be a conversation with our Heavenly father, but I never quite got the hang it. This book has shown me how. I just love this book.
