Super-comfortable at rest and for pointer movement. Unique. Good as part of ergo mouse rotation. Several wish-for's.
********update*********Stopped charging after about a year. Could still use wired, but that did not work well physically with my desk setup, so recycled it. Three stars net, 5 for excellent usability, -2 stars for short life.********update*********Couple months in and this mouse is still VERY comfortable. Preferred to all others, but still use in rotation with next best choices, especially Evoluent mice. Charge lasts for weeks, powers down intelligently over night but then immediately powers up and connects with press of one of the mice buttons. Wish fors below still relevant but I would buy again ad is if it broke. Highly recommended!😊********original*********First full day with the HandShoe Medium Light Click Wireless mouse, and it is VERY comfortable so far. I use a variety of ergo mice across home and work to keep my hand, wrist and forearm healthy, including the 3M Ergo Mouse wired and wireless (large) 3M Wireless Ergonomic Mouse, Large Size, Black (EM550GPL) , Evoluent VerticalMouse 2-4 + C wired and wireless Evoluent - Ergonomical Wireless VerticalMouse C Series - Right Handed - Black & Chrome , and Posturite Penguin wired (large) Posturite Wired Penguin Mouse - Large (9820101) . I also have touch screens in 3 monitor setup that allows me to mix in touch with mousing. The principle I apply is two fold: good ergo science behind the design of the pointing devices to achieve lower pressures, joint forces and fine muscle movements COMBINED WITH changing between mice (and touch) such that these pressures, forces and muscle movements CHANGE slightly within the overall healthy range, thereby decreasing exact repetitive movements even further. The HandShoe creates a very different forearm and hand position vs. my other ergo mice, which are more vertical, and yet, the Hand Shoe still has an extremely comfortable forearm and hand position. When resting my hand on the mouse without movement, it is the most comfortable of all of them. Movements are comfortable so far as well, with reasonable precision given that this is a gross motor muscle movement mouse (like all my other ergos but unlike typical soap bar mice). I've come to expect a tradeoff in precision of movement vs. ergonomic health and it's worth it to me.Of course one day is hardly a test of an ergonomic device, so will update after a few weeks OR if discomfort develops, but off to a good start.Regarding other features, few key points:- Wireless working fine, no issues with default Win7 mouse drivers nor with range (which is quite short at my desk).- Charge fine so far. Charged overnight before use. Again, hardly a robust test, but at least it's been working all day :-)- Mods. Added a mini to micro USB adapter to the mouse and leaving it in so that I can charge from the many microUSB cords/chargers that I have. Also attached a cable clip to hold the dongle on the mouse when not plugged in to a computer, also stays on all the time.Wish for's- Built-in storage for the dongle and transition to microUSB charging to eliminate the needs for the Mods above.- Charge indicator (perhaps like Anker does it on their external batteries, where specific button press or device motion activates the LED indicator)- DPI adjust (H, M, L)- Touch-to-scroll in addition to the mouse wheel, as mouse wheel movements are fine motor and more subject to RSI. Touch to scroll could be a touch sensitive area on the mouse that you drag your palm across, moving scrolling back to gross motor movement.- Alternative left/right button press mechanism (perhaps rocking the mouse left or right), again to replace the fine motor movement of button presses with gross motor movement.Net, recommended, especially in rotation with other good ergo mice, with caveat that much more time is needed, and potential RSI issues with buttons and wheel if used exclusively.

Not perfect but much better on the hand than a standard mouse
As I seem to spend more time than I ever would have imagined keyboarding and mousing, I have developed arm and wrist pain that I have connected with poor ergonomics at my computer. I have changed to a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard (took some getting used to but I like it now) and after much research came across the HandShoe mouse. PRIOR to buying this mouse, when using a regular mouse, I almost immediately began to feel pain when I started mousing. I use the mouse pretty heavily when doing CAD design work, and after hours it had become an ordeal. And the pain did not go away sometimes for days afterword. So, based on other user reviews, I bought a light click, right hand medium HandShoe mouse. Wireless, of course. For me, using a wired mouse is like using a corded telephone - a thing of the past!Pros:- Wireless! Don't let some of the reviews mislead you, I sometimes forget to plug in the charging cable and go days without recharging and it has yet to go dead on me.- Comfortable hand position. It takes some getting used to, since your hand actually rests on the mouse, but if your forearm is supported on the work surface as they direct it is not a problem.- No more wrist or forearm pain from mousing!Cons:- You will need a workspace that is set up to allow you to have forearm support. I added a 12" x 30" x 1/4" plywood panel that projects past my desk top to support my forearm. Not elegant, but it works fine.- Learning to move the mouse is awkward at first, improves with use but it still does not feel as natural as a regular mouse did. I think it has to do with the placement of the laser light relative to the center of mass of the mouse.- Fine cursor control is not very good, it has a tendency to "jump" when you only want to move it a tiny amount to line up with whatever you are pointing at.One oddity with this mouse, several other reviewers have noted that the mouse is heavy. It is, mainly because somebody on the design team thought it was a good idea to add a bunch of small weights to "optimize" the mouse weight, I opened the panel and took them all out. Voila, mouse now is a comfortable weight. If you experience pain in your wrist, hand or forearm due to the unnatural position of a regular mouse, I recommend the HandShoe mouse. I would buy it again. I only gave it four stars because I believe the fine cursor control and placement of the laser light could be improved.

Very comfortable, it does need getting used to
Very comfortable, it does need getting used to. The size is huge therefore get a medium to large mouse pad if you have the space. One issue is you have to relax your hand and arm while you are using it to get the full benefit of the mouse. I have tendonitis in my thumb, this mouse has helped a lot. I am not 100% pain free when I am using it, but I think it's due to not relaxing while using it, if you are drawing and designing, you tend to press hard as you are concentrating on what you are drawing. Overall a very good mouse, and works well with Mac Pro no problems.

Design is fantastic. Internals are garbage
The design of this mouse is amazing. It is very ergonomic and reduces stress in the hand. The internals of the mouse however are garbage. The mouse goes to sleep quite often while it is being used. I have to repeatedly flip it over and flip the switch on and off. There is also no DPI control as well. Accuracy seems to be lacking too. I would not recommend this product for its price.
