Great stair gate very safe, looks great, easily put up and very sturdy and the lock is great easy for adults but not easy for children!

We actually have completely re-worked this gate to do what we want it to so I can only say that I think it would work very well in a doorway but on our stairs which have glass banisters, we had to make a number of modifications. Seems good quality and wasn't expensive so happy to recommend.

We use this when we want the front door open but want to keep the cats in. Slips in and out easily, fits very well and is sturdy. Mechanism to open the gate requires two hands. The little turn down wedges either side of the bottom of the gate are great when moving it around and also when wanting to make it open one way or the other.

A neat gate, easy to open. Very secure. Bought to stop wet dogs leaving the kitchen area. Very pleased with the item. Its is good quality. It was easy to install, took 10 mins if that.

We have this one and a "Safety 1st Flat Step Gate". Mostly, they are similar but this one just feels less well thought through and a bit flimsier too.- pointy corner on the wall side of the closing mechanism. We walk onto it more than I'd care to admit and get a nasty bruise from it. Perfect toddler head hight too -- we only use it for dogs but it'd worry me as a parent.- The safety 1st one is, as the name would suggest, a flat step one which makes so much more sense as a design. Don't see any advantages to having a thick bottom bar like this munchkin one.- this one also is much harder to open one handed.It works fine but these small annoyances add up.
