Reading Comprehension Fundamentals, Grade 3

I loved this book.it was mentioned as used but it was actually absolutely new. I got new book at such affordable price.thankyou goodwill.you are doing great 👍 job.

I LOVED this workbook! As a teacher I often find workbooks that are too easy or just no rigor. I teach 2nd grade and honestly laugh at the workbooks I see at stores. Gone are the days where students are expected to read six sentence paragraphs and answer questions. I use this book for my high flying readers in my reading group. It goes great with our Iready software! The software identifies skills they need to work on (authors purpose, vocabulary, cause and effect) and I can easily pull passages from this book. The readings are organized into skills like I listed above. The reading usually has a short paragraph with an introduction to the concept. The back is a long 3-8 paragraph reading with text based questions. Honestly love it and am going to purchase the second grade one for my on grade level students. I do not usually recommend workbooks but I will go to bat for this one! Great small/whole group resource!

The thing that threw me off was these prints are in black and white. We are ok with that but prefer color. I may have my kids color the pictures in the book😆.

i wish i could know this book early. i use wordly wise 3000 and 180 days reading with my 2nd and 1st grade kids at home. the other two are great and this one has a lot of teaching tool for parents to help kids to understand what's the main idea. it has very detail explanation on each lesson. now we are starting this new book for review some of the points they are missing from school. i would recommended for any homeschool parents
