HENCKELS Stainless Steel Nylon Slotted Turner, Blue

This is a nylon turner, that’s why I bought it. Very hard to find anything that’s not silicone. Silicone does not last like nylon. Silicone smells eventually, nylon never picks up permanent odors. I have at least 4 of these.

I'd been looking for the old fashioned nylon turners, but they all seem to be made with silicon these days, which is often too flexible to do the job. Then I found these. They are just like my old ones, which I bought over 25 years ago at a supermarket, before silicon! I have a son who loves to cook, and he's just as excited about these as I am. It's the little things in life that often make us the happiest. I bought several, in case they decide to start making them silicon, like everyone else seems to have done.

I find those silicone versions to be totally worthless. Too flexible. Not sure how that trend got started, but this is much better. Must be called “international” because it’s made in China.

It's what you expect from a hard spatula without the brittleness of the cheap ones.Successfully cleaned in the dishwasher several times. Has a good feeling, sturdy handle.

This spatula works like a dream. It easily flips frying food. The handle is the ideal length, st least for me. It’s sturdy and washes up easily. It’s well designed and looks good in my kitchen. What more could one ask?
