These are very good canning lids in a versatile size
These are very good canning lids in a versatile size. These fit a variety of 500-ml/1-lb jars. The one-piece construction is more convenient than the 2-piece type, and these lids can be reused repeatedly as long as they're sterilized before each use. I got these to replace some that I'd used over a dozen times; they were still holding a vacuum seal but starting to look a little the worse for wear. I recommend the Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni lids (in all sizes) without reservation.

Excellent BPA-free option for standard size ball jars
I have to thank a previous reviewer for noting that these fit the standard size ball jars as the measurements listed are a little difficult to understand. I researched alternative lids for ball jars fairly extensively after learning that the original lids are made with BPA and the company only recently began to changing their formula for them, which I don't feel completely comfortable with. These are the only lids that are not made in China and appear to be as chemical free as possible. The also look beautiful with blue jars as well. I believe these are the same price as if ordered directly through goodman's (other sites are more expensive), but I trust Amazon's shipping/customer service so just ordered through here.

Most leakproof, absurdly overpriced
And I resent paying an even more absurd price because they won't sell them by the dozen. I just get 2, wrapped in a bunch of plastic I then have to throw away.

works well for jelly, BUT-
I have used the 2 3/4 size lids for jelly making for several years now, you can re-use them but you have to be careful to only hand tighten them before water bathing, otherwise they won't "ping" when you take them out. I find I can re-use them for jelly several times and the inner ring is still good. Big BUT--if you are just using these to store liquids you have to be very careful, I tried to shake up some powdered milk with water and no matter how tight I screwed the lid on, it still leaked a little, so they work for canning but not so good for storing liquids otherwise.

Four Stars
Fit is good. Look is Great. Wish they didn't rust inside.

Excellent!
These are awesome 1-piece lids. Fits many jars that are not Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni jars too. They last for years without degrading in quality if using for simple storage (not canning). Eventually the plastic will rub off and they'll start to rust, but they are easy to replace.

Not a Quality Product
I bought several of these lids in two separate orders, and at first I was really impressed. They seemed super nice, as they should at about $2.50 a piece. (Replacement Ball lids, also BPA Free, are about .50 a piece). Within a few months, the inner coating began to rub off on several of the lids (I only hand wash), and on a few rust began to develop. It takes Ball lids YEARS to rust. Now, about four months after I purchased the lids ALL of them have lost inner coating. I can't use lids that are rusting, that's simply not smart. I had to replace them with Ball lids. What a waste of money! I'm really disappointed.
