I bought two of these and connected them together to create a baby safe area for my 11 months old to play in at the end of our dining room. It’s just perfect! I love that it can be configured into different shapes as needed too!

So, I wanted to keep him safely confined to one area to play. This gate does that perfectly! It’s also the perfect fit for the foam mats I purchased previously.My boy spends more time on the panel with the toys embedded into it, then the toys we got for him.It’s very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I brace myself on the gate to climb over it with him in my arms…very steady!

I received the product and immediately put it together in my living room. I have a toddler and my sister has an infant, and so far this had been great to keep the two of them apart when I can't have my eyes on both of them. It is very sturdy and visually entertaining. I can change the size very easily, big enough for my husband and I to sit inside to play with my son but also changed easily to create protective area around the infant while we play tag!

Really great product. We haven’t used the suction on the bottom since it is on our rug. Overall easy to assemble. I can maneuver it to different shapes and sizes for what I need. My older kids like being in it with their little brother too. My 2 yo has figured out how to climb over when she needs to and it handles her weight and stays steady when she goes over it. If she leans against it, it does begin to tilt but she is much bigger than our 8 month old who we actually got it for. Gaps are a good size for hands and feet. He has only had his foot slide underneath the gate once, and it did not hurt him or anything. To give reference our 8 month old is about 22 lbs and pretty chunky. He will push against it (not standing yet) and it doesn’t budge. Only downside is when storing you do need to separate each panel. More an inconvenience than a problem. It would be nice if it could all fold away together while staying connected or came with a storage bag to keep pieces together. Still a great product!

The playpen works very well. It allow for many configurations and multiple sets can easily be merged together (we have two that we combined into a single large play area). The pieces are sturdy and provide something for a baby to look at and touch without being overly gaudy or distracting. The suction cups are a nice touch for wood flooring.The pieces should be probably wiped down before assembly, as they come shipped in a cardboard box (no plastic wrap) and tend to have some cardboard debris on them. Not a huge deal (you'd probably want to wipe them down anyway), but it does take a little time to do prior to assembly. Assembly is straightforward, but connecting and disconnecting the pieces does take a little strength -- this is certainly to provide stability once everything is together, but ends up making setup and breakdown non-trivial.Not a positive or negative, but a thought: a few leftover pieces *could* make a good baby fence for doorways and such, if they were made to stand more stably in a line or an attachment could be purchased to hold them upright. (Making a zig-zag out of them isn't terribly space efficient or functional.) I only mention this because I have 4 pieces left over and not much to do with them.

I love how this playpen can be configured to fit your or your baby’s needs. We have used this to section off one entire room wall to wall. This was so much cheaper and easier to put together/install than a more expensive option.The only cons are that one of the spinning rattle pieces was broken either during shipping or preshipment. It doesn’t impact its use, but it’s a bummer that it was broken before my son even got a chance to use it. Also, the toy panel is not impressive, the squeakers don’t really squeak, the foam pieces just leave blank spots and aren’t super interactive, and the gears are difficult to move for an adult, impossible for a toddler. Do these really change the use, no, but I wish this section was better. We attached our own toys and our son seems satisfied.

I am pretty picky about things, and especially if things are toxic or not. This gate is a nice size, right now 2 babies are in it with plenty of room. It is a nice height. There is ZERO smell from it, even when you open the box..no smell. And I have a sensitive nose to chemicals, so I appreciated this. It went together in less than 5 minutes and it gives me peace of mind if I have to step out of the room. The suction cups work great on wood and I have half the pen on wood and half on a rug, and even with that, it is plenty sturdy. The colors are great, not offensive, it blends nicely with the room. I don't normally leave reviews, but you can buy this with confidence. From one picky mom to another!

This ‘baby jail’ is the best investment I’ve made in the last 8 years I’ve had children. It’s super effective at containing a 9m old hell-bent on self-destruction & prevents him from eating & choking on every tiny thing he might crawl across if he was ‘free ranging’. It’s the perfect size to hold toys & there's even plenty of room to sit in there & play along with him. I also vainly love that the colors are somewhat subdued compared to other similar products. One tiny part of the play panel arrived broken, but the customer service was beyond fantastic & they quickly sent me a replacement. I’d 100% recc this product!
