worth purchasing
We use a lot of library books and sometimes several books together do not even add up to this one. It was the first book that entertained all of them, even the non crafters . Most of the supplies were around the house, the ideas are so cute and helped them kick off other ideas of their own. I think my favorite part was the fact that even the non crafters became enthused and enjoyed it. It also is low mess which was so great. Price was really good also, sometimes the idea books cost $20 + and only a few ideas . Thanks

Cute projects, kids will need help
I share a home with my daughter and her 4-year-old twins and, like everyone else these days, weโve been spending a lot of time at home, and are always looking for ways to fill up some of that time. This book has lots of very cute ideas for quick crafts that create very little mess. Weโve made two so far (fairy houses and painted turtles) and have plans for several more that the kids find exciting. The author rates the projects for difficulty on a 1-5 scale, which helps when choosing projects, but I will say that our 4-year-olds need considerable help with all of them. None of them are terribly complicated, however, so the adult helper wonโt have to spend too much time prepping and helping. Some of them can be simplified, tooโfor example, we taped our fairy houses together instead of hot gluing them. One caveat is that many of the projects ask for things you may not have on hand (rhinestones, chalk paint, bakerโs twine, etc.), so you may need to improvise. I plan to add one or two of these โingredientsโ over time as I shop for other things (Iโm pretty sure Amazon has them all) and substitute other things in the meantime. I think this will be a book that weโll return to many times as the girls get older and can do more on their own. My older grandchildren can already manage many of them with minimal help and can work alongside the little ones, which is a great bonding experience for them all. Iโm very happy with this purchase.

Such a fun crafting book
I am thrilled with this book which I recently purchased for my 4 year old. Theyโve grouped projects into categories which make a scene with crafts; beach theme, camping, outer space, etc. the crafts are low-mess and typically what people have on hand. Each project itemizes materials and tools which you will need. Step by step detailed instructions with easy to understand photographs make this one of our favorite books. Highly recommend for ages 4+.

Low-Mess Crafts for Kids is great for Parents AND Kids!
If you love to craft with your kiddies, then this book is for you. There are so many great crafts that can be made, without making a big, horrible mess. And the great thing is that these crafts are not the same as others are posting. I have not seen Debbie Chapman's crafts anywhere else. There are also some of the crafts that your kiddies can do alone. Low-Mess Crafts for Kids is definitely a Win/Win for both the adults AND the kiddies. Everyone will love it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0786P5N3T/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_49

Hours of fun for my granddaughter and me!
Great book for ideas ... lots of fun for me and my granddaughter. Fortunately, I have a lot of the necessary supplies on hand, so we will not run out of projects for a long time! (pictures of three projects are attached) We have one evening a week together and my granddaughter loves to spend time making crafty things with me. I'm not big on messy crafts that require paint or glitter, so this book was an excellent find. Recommended to anyone that likes to craft with their littles, but doesn't like big messes to clean up after!
