Nice book for analysing the design

Too much basic theory! Not useful for practical design of HVAC system.

The book arrived in very bad conditions, probably because the package was damaged and moist. Moreover, it is clearly stated on the book that it can't be sold in Europe but only in developing countries.

I am a student in Engineering and this book is usually around 200$ in the bookstore. This copy of the book is the exact same for a much more fair price.

It is bible in hvac

Good textbook as a reference to accompany a formal academic lecture course on air conditioning. Text is easy to read and follow. Not so good for self study as steps have been left out in the derivation of equations and the solutions of worked examples. There seemed to be a few typographical errors particularly with the conversion to SI units and not all steps in the worked examples were fully explained or depended upon previous examples. Nevertheless I am pleased to have it in my library for technical reference.

Please note that the book is the international copy. The papers are see through and the cover is paper, Which I do not mind AT ALL. It will not effect me reading from the book or writing in it.But it is exactly like the hard copy book you buy for more than 100 dollars. Save you A LOT OF MONEY. It came clean and well sealed.The Only Cons is that the book DOES NOT include an access code to Wiley.
