Get to the Point - Magnetic Slip-over-the-page Arrow Bookmarks (EARTHTONE - Box of 20)

I thought I'd try these magnetic bookmarks after having used and then removed hundreds of disposable flags for a class. I bought a set in January 2015, used the flags moderately, and they have held up pretty well. I now use the flags in my planner, personal notebook, cookbook, and any paper books that I read recreationally.Pros:- Perfect for temporary page marking (reading books, textbooks, marking sections to cover, etc).- Colors are convenient to indicate different spots.- Magnets hold onto the pages and can slide up/down the page edge. One magnet can hold onto 6 lined-notebook sheets without losing grip.Cons:- Perhaps better/more color variety per package? Also, I wouldn't consider the product I received were true to the colors shown in the product image... (see my posted photos).- Not really a con for the functionality of the markers, but the plastic box the bookmarks came in could be improved. The lid is held on by a sticker, and there is no hinge nor 'locking' mechanism to keep the box shut. Just a sticker.

In retrospect I wish I had opted for the brighter colors, these are small and thus easy to overlook whenever they aren't marking a page (as in placed on a desk, chair arm, etc.). The small size will be perfect for some people, particularly if you use multiple magnets to mark various passages in a book. If you are using these simply as a bookmark to mark your place, however, you might want to look for something bigger, particularly if you are using them for books borrowed from a library or a friend. It's very easy to forget to take it off before you return the book. Then again, at 20 per box you can afford to spread them around.

I specifically ordered this set of book marks for the colors. I needed them to match something specific. NONE of he colors match the product picture. I received all earthy/autumnal colors ie,brown, light brown, pumpkin orange, mustard yellow, burnt red. Where is my cherry red, my bright green, that vibrant yellow? The bookmarks themselves work just fine. Just be aware that they will NOT look like the pic.

These nifty little things are really useful! I am forever losing my place in books, and with these, that's just not a problem. If I ever pick up a book to carry it around, I have to worry about a regular bookmark falling out. But with these, I am certain to keep my place no matter what.I also have lots of reference books I like to keep bookmarked, but regular bookmarks come loose, and can slip out. With these little magnets, I can keep several pages marked without worrying about losing anything.

These bookmarks are great. I used them to keep the place in my Bible and they work well on the thin pages and stay in place. They also have the advantage of being able to be placed on the side of the page, so, for Bible reading, it works great because you can mark not only the page but also put it right next to the chapter you are on. Really love these!

I'm so glad I purchased this. I finally have enough bookmarks to keep track of where I'm up to in all the books I'm reading. There are enough for all readers in the family, as well.They're small, but the best part is that the arrow can point to the exact spot on the page that I left off. That's great for beginner readers.

These serve exactly the purpose I was hoping for. I was looking for info on whether they were made of cardboard or not. They are made entirely of magnetic strips lined externally with colored, glossy paper. They clip on nicely and stay put, but also slide if you put forth enough force.Complaints? Nothing serious, but the colors are exceptionally bland.

Perfect for my bullet journal needs, as well as my need for a bookmark in my books!This is a great find, highly suggest buying if you're looking for a product to hold together your book pages (2-5), hold your place in a book or in a journal, etc.
