Get yer sandpaper and glue, Maties!
Feather-light swords are the perfect size for kids too young to play with 'em! I purchased these for a younger child who would have been splintered or punctured as these were barely sanded and had enough barbs, burrs, machine skips, nicks, tear outs and sloppy cuts to slightly injure a child and annoy a parent. One guard was just completely separated from the soft pine sword. I wouldn't recommend gifting these without inspection - friendships and family bonds could be sorely tested! To correct these issues I'm using a butane torch, 80 & 120 grit sanding blocks, vinyl strips to wrap the badly burred handles, C-clamps, acrylic paint, and good wood glue. Honestly, if I'd known I'd have to work this hard to clean 'en up I just would have made them myself from scrap 2x4's! You will need, at minimum, to sand this set as blade guard and handle are filled with splinters. A torch, heat gun or flame should restore the "burned" finish.

Great Starter Sword
I bought these because I needed to make a sword for a nephew. The sword was just fine like it was. It was a little rough but okay considering the price. I say a great starter sword because I reworked the sword. I sanded the entire sword making it smoother and more defined. I then stained the blade a gray color and re stained the handle with a dark mahogany stain. I then carved in the handle the nephews last name. I used a Dremel tool to do the carving. Turned out great. The kid loved it.

Rustic & Sturdy
We purchased these for our 7 & 8 year old sons. They are sturdy, yet rustic and I have now been requested to wood burn their names into the swords. They use them for play and imagine they are dragon slayers. They will last years and have lots of memories to come. Another great thing... they can't hurt each other as they are not sharp or have a blade. Wooden beats a steel sword for boys play.

durable and fun
My sons ages 5 and 3 absolutely love these swords. Their 11 year old brother and his buddies are always grabbing these to play fight each other and the swords are holding up to the challenge! I will definitely buy more of these to have around for fellow knights and warriors.

💕 amazing quality
The quality of the sword is amazing and better than I expected. My little one's absolutely love them and I appreciate that they can play sword fight without the worries (no sharp tip). Would recommend and would buy again. Arrived on time and handled with care. Thank you

"Made in China"
Looks and feels "Made in China". It didn't take long for the guards to slip off. Plenty of splinters, too. Today one of the pair snapped in two.

Great buy for a quality product.
My son (8 years old) wanted these as he loves to play pirate. They have held up well so far. Good quality and are much better than the plastic kind he had before.

My Kids adore these! Easily Dinged.
My kids absolutely love these and the wood makes them built to last multiple duels. However they do seem to be made with a "soft" wood which makes them susceptible to dings. Don't expect these to look good for very long.

Cute and still basicly safe. Point not to sharp. Good for children. Not to.thin.
