I purchased a pair of these orthotic shoe inserts after doing some research for my plantar fasciitis & heel spur pain. I was in so much pain from plantar fasciitis and a heel spur that I was limping & walking on my toes to try & compensate for the stabbing pain. I tried many different orthotics, including Happy Feet, & nothing seemed to help. Kaiser wouldn't give me a prescription for custom orthotics, so I researched and found Tread Labs on youtube & decided to give these a try. At first the heel spur was still giving me some mild pain, so I purchased an inexpensive gel pad for my heel & placed it on top of my Tread labs stride orthotic shoe inserts & that helped the heel spur pain even more. I am a postal carrier & walk 6+ hours a day. I have been wearing the Tread Labs Stride Orthotics (high arches) for 3 months now & I have no pain walking anymore. I still get some pain when I'm sitting down, but that's normal with Plantar Fasciitis & I do still do my stretches for that... but the fact that I have 0 pain after wearing these daily, walking 6 hours a day & sometimes overtime, is awesome! I totally recommend trying these if you have Plantar Fasciitis pain... especially if you walk for a living! Just make sure you order the correct arch size. I purchased the insole replacements on Black Friday for a great price, because I know eventually my insoles will wear out, but so far the original pair are in good condition.
