I bought this for our new 2019 VW Atlas. It fits well, maybe just a little tight on the sides but that’s a good thing (helps keeps debris and/or liquid from leaking down around the edges). The backing keeps the mat securely in place. This mat does extend from the back to right behind the second row and will fold up with the third row (both seats, not one at a time unless you cut it) so it gives full coverage. Overall, it seems to be of high quality and fits our needs better than any of the other custom-fit options out there.

The fit & quality of this product exceeded my expectations. It fits snug in the extended trunk, stays in place and it’s easy to clean. Perfect for strollers, kids, pets.

Definitely the right cut and fit for 2023 VW Atlas. I like that it can be folded in two different ways. I also like Velcro like finish that holds it in place. Left and right sides for some reason have weird shaped inward corners. There is nothing in the trunk that requires those. Otherwise it is great trunk liner.

This cargo liner is fantastic. I too was skeptical and read a lot of reviews and did my research between this and the muddy buddy. This is the liner for your Volkswagen atlas! My cargo area gets beat up and used hard with kids and dogs. This liner is rugged and the underneath has really good grip as the liner stays in place like no other liner. If you’re using the third row like crazy the muddy buddy is your solution as it does have a fold but you can cut this one from what others have reviewed. Sidenote I am a real person and never leave reviews. This liner is review worthy!

I look online for a floor mat made out of carpet for the truck on my Atlas, but coundn't find one; I bought this instead and I am very pleased with it. floor mat is made of a rubbery plastic but it has a good texture feel to it almost like carpet fits a little snug but and it has fabric backing on it so it grips on to the floor on the trunk very well.( This floor mat will cover the folded 3rd row seats which is what I was looking for )

The downside of the awesome third row in the VW Atlas is that there's basically no cargo cover out there that will work in the way I want (and the way I think most people want). Most cargo covers out there will work if the third row is up but not when it's down or they work when the third row is down but not when it's up. My problem is that I don't want to have to think ahead of time about which cargo mat I need. I don't always know ahead of time if I'm gonna need to put that third row up or not. Enter: the folding cargo mat. My hope was that a folding cargo mat would do double duty and work in all instances. This one does that sort of. The construction is great, it's made of durable material, and it's cut to perfect dimensions. The issue is in the fold. When seats are down, this cover works perfectly. When seats are up this cover sticks up quite a bit. It doesn't actually touch the passengers but it does make use of the cargo space difficult because it hangs awkwardly. The backing of the mat does a good job of keeping the mat in place when it's down but once that third row is up it's not enough to hold on to the back of the seats so it sorta flops down. The reason that the mat sticks up when the seats are up is because the seats fold up by sliding down into the car a little. This means that there is literally less area to be covered (even if you include the seat backs). I tried to get around this by cutting the cargo mat at the fold line and tucking it into the car at the third row hinge. This did reduce how much the mat stuck up but... when you put the third row down now the cargo mat is too small. The solution is a totally different kind of mat (that doesn't currently exist). Also, there's no hole in the mat to put the third row pulls through (I cut holes in my mat). It makes pulling the third row up kind of hard. Tl;Dr: the mat works if you don't mind it sticking up above the third row and won't be using the cargo space when the third row is up - don't try cutting it to fix the problem.

I was not happy with the way this fit the cargo area of my 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. It limits access to the straps to pull up the third row seats and it just did not seem like it was made specially for my vehicle. I sent it back and I am currently researching other cargo liners. Unfortunately this one just did not meet my expectations.

We really enjoy this floor mat, and has one side sticks to the carpet so it doesn’t slide around even when the dogs jump in and out of the car. Because you can cut it, and again the bits do not slide around, you can move the third row of seats up and down without disrupting this liner. I would highly recommend it, it is much better than the one offered by Volkswagen directly. When you unpack it it feels and looks a little flimsy but actually that’s better because it molds nicely to the existing carpet.

No se sostiene el tapete cuando despliegas el tercer asiento, se dobla y se cae, solo funciona bien si está abatido el tercer asiento.

This mat fit nicely in my VW Atlas. It’s a nice fabric that will keep things easy to clean. We had to cut the top part in half so that we can raise the 3rd row as in other reviews that we read but other than that it’s great.

Love how the matt has a natural fold line for the occasion you use third row. Bottom is Velcro and sticks to the Back of the third row. Other products just don’t do this.
