Easy international data access
I used this sim card for a trip to Mexico, as my normal mobile provider don't have international roaming. It worked seamlessly. I was able to test that it worked in the US and then was available to take an Uber from the airport when I arrived in Mexico City. 100 MB included with the card is enough to start, and easy to top up with a bit more (although I didn't go crazy and only got 250 MB more for a week trip).

Ambiguous product and difficult support
I bought this travel SIM, only to find out that BNESIM actually offers several different travel SIMs, each of which have different coverage areas and different pricing. For example, the "X" sim covers the most countries, but the cost for 1GB in the U.S. is about 14 Euro. The S7 model covers far fewer countries, but 1GB of data in the U.S. is about 6 Euro. Until I got the SIM, I couldn't tell which model this one was, and the packaging doesn't say either. I eventually found out when I activated it. This is the "X" model.I tried calling BNESIM for support. When you call, you're asked to choose from 3 options (the first two relate to top-ups). When you select option 3 for the support, the system immediately hangs up. I reached out to BNESIM by email and finally got a response. It turns out that they can convert the SIM remotely, by making a change on their end and having me make a change on my phone. So, now I have an S7 model with the cheaper U.S. Data.6 Euro for a gig of data is a bit steep, but the big advantage that makes it worth it is that the data has no expiry. So, if you have a phone that needs data, but doesn't use a lot, it can be a lot cheaper than a monthly plan. The X model SIM (more expensive data) routes the data through the U.S. and uses Tmobile by default, and so it has a very low latency (30-40ms) when used in the U.S. The S7 model SIM uses AT&T but it routes the data through servers in Europe, and so the latency is considerably higher (about 250ms) when used in the U.S.
