Very Happy!!
Ordered the Split Cal King at Midnight on Wednesday and it arrived at noon on Friday. 4 boxes (2 for mattresses and 2 for bases)I removed the mattresses and allowed them to expand for about 18 hours. They were about 10ΒΉ/Β²" thick out of the box and were at the full 12" when I returned home. I proceeded to remove the bases and was impressed with the quality, it was pretty easy to hook up following the instructions. I had an existing cal king frame and after removing the mattress, box springs and slats, the bases fit perfectly, however I would recommend having an extra set of hands to lift the bases and set the inside the frame if you have a frame. Everything worked perfectly and it's very comfortable. My old mattress was the Serta Perfect Sleeper but was not so "perfect" for me. I was waking up with sore back, shoulders and hips. The new mattress is much better for me and being able to adjust it to suit your comfort is Frickin Awsome. Great for watching TV and great for when you are ready to sleep. The massage helps relieve pain and helps the blood flow, I love it for my feet. Once you find the perfect position you can program it to go there. I bought Wholesalebeddings4.3 out of 5 stars 191 ReviewsWholesalebeddings 100% Bamboo Bed Sheet Set - Split California King, Solid Grey - Super Soft & Cool, Bamboo Viscose, 5PC Sheets on Amazon and am extremely happy with them. I also purchased the Snowflake cat 8 Packs Elastic Bed Sheet Straps to keep the sheets on tight as they will come loose on adjustable beds and am very happy with them as well. You can't beat the price on this bed, it's a very high quality adjustable bed for $2000.00, no tax and free shipping, also, they will pay for return shipping if you are not happy, you must keep it for at least 30 days for return shipping to be free. However, I have no intention of returning this bed. Hope this review helps.

Highly Recommend!
We've discussed getting an adjustable bed for years. But the $5000 - $6000 prices for split king were off putting. This set by Blissful is affordable and great quality. The foam mattresses are medium firm and bend easily. We especially like the extra 30 degree tilt just at the head. We struggled a bit to unpack and haul into our mainfloor bedroom for assembly. That's mostly because hubby is having rotator cuff surgery next week and he can only use one arm! That was our motivation to make this purchase as he teaches online courses and needs to sit in bed with a laptop table (also on order) and type or swipe while recuperating. Two XL Twin mattresses and two adjustable bed frames arrived in four boxes. Beware, the frames are heavy and boxes cumbersome to open. Everything was packaged securely with no missing parts. The assrmbly instructions are clear and easy to follow. I took it slowly to ensure I understood and the mechanisms worked properly. Our oversized cushy King mattress pad and sheets are working ok for now. Ideally XL Twin pads and fitted (bottom) sheets may be best. Also, we have a beautiful solid cherry King headboard, footboard with wood frame sides. These entire set sits comfortably inside all of that! We are extremely pleased and recommend this Split King Mattresses and Adjustable bed frame set.

It is a great bed for sleeping, but ........
First off, when I ordered this item in the first week of December, the Amazon website specifically stated that the item was back-ordered until December 30.I actually contacted the company who happens to be local to me, to discuss whether there was a white glove service available from them where they would come in and assemble the bed, and remove the old mattress and box springs. Most bed sellers have this service available. When I called I was told that they did have the white glove service available. The last thing I wanted to have to do was to try to schlep a California King mattress and two box springs out of our house and find a place to leave them. Then assemble the new bed. They told me that I had to cancel the original order which had shipping directly to my house, and then reorder, let them know the order number, and they would send me a link to pay for the white glove service. I do not remember how much the white glove service was at this time I think it was either $100 or $125.So I canceled the original order, waited for the money to get back into my account, and then reordered with the instructions they gave me. I then called the manufacturer, and they sent me an invoice for the white glove service. I ordered the bed through Amazon, but the white glove service directly through the manufacturer. I paid the separate invoice online for the white glove service. Now I have one heck of a custom bed frame. The entire ensemble costs around $10,000 from a major furniture manufacturer. It resembles something like a fit for a king Bed. I am not talking about the size I'm talking about the headboard the outer frame etc. It actually has marble posts in the front. I was worried that the adjustable frames would not fit inside the outer bed frame. The manufacturer told me these were made to fit into all types of outer frames. The original mattress was like $4000. It was comfortable all the way up to the end when I replaced it, but I will admit although it was comfortable, I would sometimes wake up with my back hurting, so did my wife.I had many reservations about getting a bed like this. I was worried that it would not be high enough.I did my research, and found 8 inch risers for the 12 inch legs on the new adjustable frames. 6 legs each for the 2 adjustable frames. 12 total. I ordered three boxes that had four risers each to handle the two California split King mechanisms that fit inside my frame to raise it. It is actually now, about two inches higher than before. It took about a week longer to get the bed than I thought because the white glove service ended up delivering my order to another customer by mistake.I called the manufacturer and they ensured that another split King unit with mattresses were sent to the white glove service who then scheduled with me to deliver.I am not going to ding them a star for this because the White Glove service was outstanding and we love the bed. They told me over the phone that I would be responsible for moving any cross members on my existing frame once the removed the old box springs and mattress, but that the white glove service would do everything else.Turns out the white glove service guys had all the tools and they just went ahead and removed the cross members for me.They did a complete and total custom installation. I am sure that I could have done this on my own with my wife, but I am glad I did not have to worry about it.It took two young experienced guys about a half hour for the entire job.If you're going to spend this kind of money I highly recommend you getting the white glove service.I really feel bad for the people who have to install this on their own.Now about the bed and the mechanisms itself. This unit is the top-of-the-line that they sell. This is the one I recommend. It's got the built-in massage, the pillow riser, preprogramed positions, Wi-Fi, four USB chargers per section and there are two sections of the California split King. It is very quiet, and it works perfectly. We are now on our second month with the bed. With respect to the mattress, we got the medium firm mattress, and it is firm to say the least. We had a pillow top before. This is the mattress my wife and I actually needed. No more pain at all. It is literally one heck of a comfortable sleep. My other mattress was good as well, but with this one there's no more pain in my back.My wife loves this bed. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is different than having a spring type of mattress and I will talk about that below. As for the adjustable part, my wife likes to study in bed, she is in nursing school. She puts the head part of the bed up all the way while she is studying. As for me I would not study in bed but my wife loves to study in bed.Frankly as for me, I prefer to sleep flat. My wife likes to sleep in the zero gravity position. We have this thing raised 8 inches off the ground and with our frame the actual mattress is pretty high. It is kind of funny walking in and seeing her so high in the zero gravity position.Sometimes when I eat too much I like to raise they head a bit so that I do not get acid reflux. Now for the part you've all been waiting for, how is this bed for sexually active couples. At first, I was very disappointed in this regard. The two mattresses are split in the middle, as well as the mechanism on the bottom. The two mechanisms on the bottom are connected together so they do not separate. However, the two mattresses on top are not connected. There is a gap in the middle, and it does interfere with intimate relations. My wife was reading online that some people use anti-slide material used for carpets on hardwood floors or laminate floors to keep the mattresses from separating. We have not had a chance to go buy that yet.We have found workarounds, as you might expect. You will figure it out too. The best is to lay sideways over the gap. With our old-fashioned mattress this obviously was not an issue, plus cuddling was much easier on the old-fashioned mattress. On the new mattress you can cuddle but it's not as easy as with a single mattress. So with this set up there's a trade-off. If you want to get a great night sleep without any pain, and have an adjustable bed to watch TV with, read, etc., this is the set up for you. However, with the split California King, or a split King you are going to have the issue of a gap.The good thing is you each can adjust each side separately whereas on a queen or smaller you both have to deal with the same adjustment for the entire bed because there is only one base, then again you have no gap. Always a trade-off.We also purchased off of Amazon a couple of pairs of split California King flannel sheet sets. Even though we are in California, we like the luxurious feel of flannel. If you're going to get adjustable bed, I highly recommend this one. I would not go with the cheaper softer mattress from the same manufacturer unless you want to get back pain. I did a lot of research before I purchased is bed, I checked everywhere, and this is the best deal in town for this set up.I hope this helps.

As good as the description makes it out to be. King split mattress and adjustable bed frame.
My wife had been suffering with a back injury, so I started researching adjustable beds from the likes of Sleep Number, Craftmatic, and a few local Canadian companies that were selling memory foam mattresses and adjustable beds. The price varied between 2-3x (or more) what is being offered here. It was the many positive reviews that set my mind at ease regarding quality, as I worried it might suffer if I opted for a less expensive alternative. Spoiler alert: It didn't.While the shipping seemed to get held up for a week at the point of origin, soon enough it was on it's way and tracking allowed me to watch it's progress as it snaked it's way from California towards Canada. It was delivered days before Christmas, in 4 large boxes. 2 for each mattress. 2 for each adjustable frame. This is a good time to explain something: You are NOT buying a 'bed frame'. This does NOT come with a headboard nor side panels. You do get 2, Twin XL adjustable beds with feet which can be set at various heights. It can stand alone, against a wall, or you can add a headboard or place it in your old bed frame. This comes into play if you already have a bed (in this case a King bed). We simply removed the old mattresses, all the hardware and wooden slats, leaving only the headboard attached to the rectangular frame of the bed. Both Twin XL beds can be dropped in with a bit of room to spare all around, but not enough to make it look messy or like it was the wrong size. The fit is good. All four boxes were HEAVY. I'm a relatively strong guy, but struggled with my 16 year old daughter to get the boxes upstairs. But we did, and we were able to get the beds unwrapped and into place with not too much difficulty. 2 strong adults should have no problem. We've had the bed for about 6 weeks now, and I can tell you that it's a game changer. The mattress: I've never had a memory foam mattress, but we bought my daughter one from another online seller a few months before we got ours. Her mattress is quite firm. I didn't want firm. The mattresses that come with this set are quite unusual. The first 2" of foam are quite soft and quickly molds to your body. This allows you to sleep in almost any position comfortably without putting too much pressure on a hip or a shoulder. Under that first 2" is a a second layer that is more firm and supportive etc...As such, if you're used to a firmer, bouncier, spring mattress, this one is completely different. but when you lay on it, you sink in to those first two inches, almost finding Nirvana. The other thing about the mattress which I'm a big fan of is that it's built in such a way that it is articulated at the points where the bed adjusts. What this does, is it allows the mattress to bend with the bed in a natural way. I've seen other people's beds, where their mattress doesn't lay flat where the feet go. There's no issue with this combo. Moves well and stays against the bed as it does. We've been sleeping very well on this mattress set and although we came from a firm spring bed, we realized now that we've been missing out on a lot of comfort. The adjustable bed: So far, I'm very impressed with this product. It was easy to set up, and the motors seem very strong. Fairly quiet in operation and in moving positions. Having two memory positions on the remote is great. The Zero Gravity position is my go to prior to going to sleep, after watching some TV. That brings me to just how amazing watching television, reading, using handheld devices is, when you have an adjustable bed. I mean it. It's the most comfortable place in the house now to watch TV, and I have comfie couches. Two remote controls came with the unit (would be a good idea to ship one black and one white, as we're constantly mixing the two and readjusting each others position inadvertently - LMAO). While a lot of people have poo-poo'ed the vibration feature, my wife and I love it. It's NOT a massage, per se. Think of it as more of a relaxation tool. I find that the low and medium settings are my favourite. The head tilt function is a nice addition, as sometimes you want to raise your head, but not your whole back. Nice feature. Each bed has multiple USB plugs behind your head. Simply plug a long wire into it, and you'll always be able to get to it on the side. We're very happy with our purchase and hope we get many years of enjoyment from this. This has ruined me: I'm an adjustable bed guy now.

Best Bargain on Adjustable Beds
Short version: We like this bed. Much longer version: We were surprised how quickly these were delivered, given they come from the USA. Note however that there are four boxes, all awkward to handle and two that are quite heavy. Be careful not to injure yourself moving these around. The packaging is done very well, apart from a few minor issues. The cardboard boxes are very heavy, and those for the bases have plastic shipping corners. Alas, inside, the legs are contained in much lighter cardboard boxes, most of which ruptured on the end. We believe this caused some minor damage during shipping, including a small cut in the base fabric on one bed.Opening the mattresses was interesting. They are memory foam and come vacuum bagged and rolled up into tight cylinders. When you cut the bag, air rushes in, and they begin to expand. It hardly seems possible that they will become a foot thick, but they do. You'll want to unpack them in a well-ventilated area where you can leave them on edge with a fan. They off-gas, as all memory foam does. We left our mattresses to air out for a day, but two or three would be better. The mattresses are pliant, yet firm, giving both comfort and support. We've always had pocket coil mattresses and thought we might not like these. This was not the case. Surprisingly, the mattresses are kind of cool on the body, especially at first. They did not cause us to sweat during the night. No tools are required to assemble the bases. They come folded in half, so it's just a matter of unfolding them and screwing on the legs. Hot tip: check all the electrical connections before putting the bases in position, especially if you opt to shorten the legs. We discovered that a couple of wires on one bed had either not been connected at the factory or had become unplugged in shipping. It was a pain plugging them in with the two beds in place and fastened together into a split king. These are deluxe frames that work with a multi-function remote. The remotes need to be paired to the bases. Tip: do this before setting the bases in place. There's a small hole in the controller, into which one has to push the end of a pen or such to poke a small button. Another tip: check all the buttons on the remote. We had one on which two buttons did not work (the seller promised nearly instantly to send us a replacement, good, quick service). Tip: you can c heck to see if it's the remote or the controller at fault by pairing the remote from the other base. If the problem remains, it's the controller, not the remote. Also, the beds can be operated using your phone, Alexa or Google, via Wi-Fi. Why anyone would want to do this is beyond us. The Wi-Fi sets up easily, providing you've done this sort of thing before. Otherwise, find a 15-year-old kid to do it. We could not get the Alexa to work, and we can't be bother figuring out why. There's a cable that connects the two beds together. With it in place, it is possible to use the split bases as one big king bed. We tried it out and it works fine. However, it's also supposed to be possible to control the beds individually and even to use the wrong remote to control the other bed. These things are done by moving an A-A+B-B switch on the back of the remote. We never succeeded in getting that to work, but it's a function we'll never use anyway. As with most adjustable bases, there is a wire bale to install in a couple of grommets at the foot so that the mattress does not work its way off the end of the bed. These are held in with wingnuts. The threads onto which the wingnuts have to be screwed are a bit short, or maybe the grommets are a bit too long. To install, you have to press the bail into the hole and catch a bit of thread with the wingnut to get it started. We wish there were additional bales or edges on the base to hold the mattresses in place laterally, as they slid around a bit.

Worth the wait
This bed was worth the wait. It took forever to come. But once it arrived, I, we were impressed by how well it was packaged and no damage. We followed the advise to wait 72 hours with the mattresses, before sleeping on them. The assembly of the beds was very easy. Actually fool prove. It took literally less than 30 minutes for each.Once set up, we could not resist to lay down. The mattresses are so comfortable. Firm but soft comfort at the same time. So medium firm. Then we tried the setting with the cordless remote. OMG. Itβs amazing. And the massage? Truly loving it.We slept now two nights on this bed. My husband and I both love it and get great rest. The price for this split king bed is much much less, than buying from SleepCountry and there is no difference in the product or comfort.Love it, in short. ππΌππΌ

Great bed. Love it.
Comfortable and easy to use. Surprisingly easy and quick to put together; but a bit annoying to connect to wifi - and you have to - otherwise it beeps annoyingly - not hard, just need to follow the steps carefully and be prepared to take some time and follow the process a couple of times. For sticking two together to make a split king, it works quite well although the mattresses separate a bit leaving a gap sometimes. There's a 'sync' link feature to connect the controller to both sides, but I gave up on getting that to work and just use the appropriate remote for each side separately, in a pinch one can use the app to control either side if the remote is out of reach or hiding. The extra head tilt is really great for reading in bed. I'd say the massage is useless as it just vibrates; but actually it's useful to get the dog off the bed as she seems to hate it.

This bed is fantastic
This bed checks all the boxes. It is a fantastic bed for the money. Extremely comfortable and was easy to assemble. Had a smallProblem with beeping called the helpline and was fixed within minutes. The smell took about a week to get rid of but that was it.My husband and I love the bed. It was a great purchase and worth every cent we paid for it.
