The bag I received has a musty smell. Not a chemical smell that some items have from China but a strange smell that I can't place. It isn't mold but something else. The vendor sent me a follow up email asking me if I would give them a review and I replied to them with my concerns about the smell but no response so at least I can confirm that they don't check their emails. Since I got the bag, I've spray the bag with Febreeze fabric spray, and have placed five charcoal bags inside the zipped compartments. The smell is almost gone after two months. Lots of hassle? yes. Why am I keeping it? I don't need to use it immediately and the design of the back is very good.There are many good example to details. The two front slash pockets, the expandable side pockets, the usb charging plug, the extra expansion zipper to increase the space up at the top of the bag.
