So worth the money and still cheaper than others like it
This worked GREAT! Used to troth out ICF walls to run 14/2 wire. At hottest setting will melt through the thick plastic nailing flange if you need a chunk of it out of your way based on your design. VERY EASY clean up, almost no mess. Only down side: your hand can get kind of cramped up squeezing trigger (duct tape it back if you're inclined) and the smell (melting styrofoam...yuck!) But wow, this tool was exactly what we needed even if only a one-time deal, sooo very worth the $!

Stopped working after a few minutes
I bought this item and then after using it for a few minutes, it totally stopped working. It’s like it overheated or something. The light continues to work but the element doesn’t heat up anymore.It was amazing on the styrofoam I was sculpting but just stopped heating.

Great knife! Just sits a little uncomfortable in the hand.
Fantastic hot knife, especially for the price! I bought it for a project that has me cutting and carving a number of large pink foam insulation boards, and it is slicing through them like butter. Being able to set the length of the blade is also a huge plus. It heats fast, too!My one and only complaint is that it does become uncomfortable in the hand, pretty rapidly, so I’m having to take frequent breaks. I think this is mostly due to having to awkwardly hold down the button to keep power going to the blade, while cutting; it keeps me from getting a comfortable grip. Still happy with it overall, though!

Like it but not
I like it , it’s easy to used . But I don’t liked it I need to pressed the on button n cut . Also I need to be pressing the on button so it can get hot . But it’s ok

Failed 3/4 of the way through project
Bought this to run electric wires in foam foundation block on small 25x28 house. Worked great until it blew fuse and although it would turn on but had no heat.. of course it was past return date

Junk.. Move on
Don’t buy this. It works great when it works. I purchased this for a small project and only got 1 use out of the tool before it stopped working.
