Game-changer for back pain (put it in the dryer, that's why it's flat for you)
I usually sleep on my side and sometimes on my back but was having a lot of lower back pain. This was a shot in the dark but it REALLY helped. Separating my legs was what I needed, as well as putting it under my knees when I'm on my back. I already bought the regular Coop pillow so I knew how comfortable they were but man, this still surprised me. When I get into a good position, I almost feel weightless. It's all about that neck and spine alignment. This thing is ENORMOUS by the way. The body pillowcase I bought barely fits over it. It's very tight because this thing is so thick. Do not believe the pictures where it's all flat or looks like it's missing filling. It's not. It comes vacuum sealed and you have to put it in the dryer for a little while. It's just like the regular Coop pillow, but huge. It has the comfy, soft, removable pillowcase and the inner lining that holds all the stuffing that you can take out if you need to. It's also not hot at all for me but it's summer so I haven't used it under covers yet and I'm using a bamboo pillowcase.

Great for side sleepers
I was concerned when the pillow arrived and I opened it because itโs quite fluffy. I sleep on my side and if the fill is too high, it puts my hip and back out of alignment. However, the filling is soft yet supportive. The width is also a little wider than my current one which makes it comfortable for my arm to lay across it 10/10

Petite AND Pregnancy Approved!!
Perfect fill and weight! I already have a Coop travel pillow and love its shredded foam! Itโs more like magic fluff than what you may have seen in other shredded foam pillows, and you can easily remove it if youโd like less fill. I wouldnโt consider this overstuffed at all though. This pillow provides perfect between the knee support...very relaxing. Iโm 5โ2 and this runs from my collarbone to my feet, with my legs almost fully extended. Itโs everywhere I need it! Itโs heavy enough to stay in place but light enough you can wiggle it over yourself to the other side. When I get out of bed, it easily folds up to let me out without a struggle. This is not a Tempurpedic brick that you just hate to move! That said, I switch sides about twice a night. I donโt mind the wiggle over to the other side. You may find you switch less just because this pillow is so relaxing- but if youโre really a dolphin in bed, you might not like the heft of the pillow. Itโs still memory foam, though lighter than the non-shredded kind. I had been sleeping with a standard size memory foam pillow between my knees...but at that size it doesnโt stay put and of course doesnโt provide any upper body support. I love resting my arm on this both high and lower- again, itโs everywhere I need it! You will need to air it out before use. Normal for memory foam. I wasnโt in a hurry and left it under a sunny window for a couple of weeks. Prefer that to the dryer option. It doesnโt smell like anything now. And about the pregnancy aspect- I looked at those two sided cocoon pillows, but there were 2 big problems for me. I share a queen bed, and I just couldnโt force my partner to try to sleep on the sliver of remaining bed. Also, I have a history of neck and back pain from not having the right pillow (serious pinched nerve stuff) and I knew that whatever shape and fill that thing was, it wasnโt going to work for me! Took me forever to discover that the Coop travel pillow, with some fluff removed and a nice big crease down the middle, was my permanent neck pain solution! Not giving that up for a pregnancy pillow! This is all I need! AND the Coop body pillow waterproof protector is awesome! Fits perfect, great quality, noiseless, and is actually so soft I like sleeping on it without an additional pillow cover. Same thing for my travel pillow- the waterproof cover is soft and a little fuzzy, feels great against your skin! I always use waterproof covers for bedding and Coop has the best quality of all Iโve ever used. So, yay Coop! High quality products from a company that really thinks about the details. I suspect this pillow will make a lot of people happy! I recommend you use a tape measure to see how much of you it will support. For me, the knees and feet are key, the arms are major bonus. Good luck! No matter what, Coop makes great quality stuff and you wonโt find anything lacking in that sense. Their products are worth the cost and I think this pillow is an awesome one! Will be using it beyond pregnancy for sure! Update: Soon after this review, I bought this silk cover to go on top of the Coop protector, and it has been amazing! Perfect fit! Almost 2 years of use now and all 3 components are still like new and fabulously comfortable. Highly recommend investing in all 3. Excellent Pillow, So-So Cover
Tired of cheap versions I had bought over the years, I committed to buying a $100 body pillow with the help of a $10-off code. Turns out this Coop 20x52 is one the better bedding decisions I've ever made. This combination of memory foam & chopped regular foam is the hot ticket, it works great. For me the default amount of stuffing is correct. When I rec'vd shipment, I thought something was wrong the package was so light & small. But it's vacuum-packed and, apparently, also free of moisture, because after the fluffing routine from the instructions it gained weight as well as size. This baby is HEAVY after a couple days of sitting out. *Really* heavy. So don't be shocked about the small package you receive, LOL That same weight actually makes for a great, soft mountain of a pillow that does not move! The large bulk of this model, combined with the wonderful feel of compliant-yet-supportive memory foam, is a totally restive comfort. Placed between knees while laying on your side, there's a 4" - 6" thickness (distance) between your legs, relieving pelvis tension perfectly. It's easy to mush & squish this into the PERFECT shape to do what you need at various points on your body, much easier than all of the cheap ones I've had before. Maybe partly due to the strangely-patterned cover the pillow comes with, seems like those segmentations help move or arrange the stuff inside, it's always smoothing and shaping, it works very well. However, while the pillow outer case is a great container, it's a poor cover. The synthetic material has twisty threads & pills appearing in the morning, pulling loose or grabbing at the velcro on my watch strap. It also seems to "grab dirt" and get dingy easily. But the real issue is the cover has a strong friction, grabbing at the bedding, making it VERY difficult to slide when you are repositioning yourself and the pillow. And with the heft and size of this guy, having to lift a segment to get it to slide will just about bust a gut. It's like wrestling with a bear. So I recommend this odd pillow case be retained due to the way it handles the contents so well and is durable with a good zipper, etc. BUT you DO buy a slick silk or satin $10 - $15 case for the outside. I did that and it's the best of both worlds. A cheap satin cover slides easier and really helps moving it around under the covers, requiring only about 1/3 the force compared to the original. However, this is still a BIG and HEAVY pillow that might not be workable for frail or elderly persons ... otherwise for shoppers that don't mind using a little muscle this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Supportive, Breathable AND Adjustable
This body pillow attempts to combine the support of a memory foam pillow with the softness and malleability of a down pillow. The manufacturer was trying to mimic the feel of down by loading the pillow with shredded chunks of material that can be fluffed to make a more custom fit. Well, I think they really hit on something here, because after a few weeks I've become quite impressed with this product. The pillow is supportive, breathable AND adjustable. The bamboo retains its shape well, but it's also moldable enough to be extremely comfortable. I appreciate how I can lessen the amount of fluff toward the bottom -- where my knees wrap around it -- while boosting the fluffiness toward the top of the pillow -- where I wrap my arms around it. It somehow manages to straddle the line between firm and pliable. And as a 6'1 side sleeper, it's plenty long enough for me to wrap both my arms and my legs around. (Official size: 20" x 54" = 50.8cm x 137.16cm.) An additional benefit is that stays relatively cool compared with more traditional memory foam body pillows. My hunch is that she clumps of shredded memory foam allow for better air circulation, keeping the hot spots of the pillow cooler than they might otherwise be. And according to the manufacturer, the combination of bamboo fabric and memory foam makes the pillow hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant. One downside is that the pillow is fairly heavy, which can be annoying when I switch sides throughout the night. For a pillow cover, I suggest the "Allersoft Cotton Body Dust Mite and Allergy Control Pillow Protector, 21 by 60-Inch." I added some pictures to help illustrate some of what I discussed in my review. Hope this helps!

I wish I would've gotten sooner, beats my cheap body pillow I had before
I am a side sleeper and had a cheaper body pillow for a long time but it started separating in the middle which basically made it useless. I had been eyeing the Coop Body Pillow for quite awhile but the price made me hesitant but with the 20% off deal, I decided to take the plunge. And boy am I glad I did! When it arrived, it was basically flat and I put it into the dryer for about 10 min and it fluffed up SO BIG!! Others mentioned theirs having a bad smell but mine has none so I was happy about that. I did have to remove about half of the filling as it was way too fluffy for my taste and it made it really heavy. After removing half the filling it has been perfection for me. I love it so much and have slept so good with this body pillow compared to my last cheap one. Well worth the money IMO. I did get a body pillow pillow case to put over the one that comes on it as I don't like the texture of the one it comes with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pillow!!!

Favorite pregnancy pillow
Pregnant with my second child. Out of all 5 pregnancy pillows I have tried, this is by far the best one. I had such low expectations, but this knocked my socks off. My pelvic dysfunction and hip pain get relief. Confused how it does everything..? It holds its shape soooo well, but isnโt stiff. I can easily adjust the filling distribution, but it doesnโt migrate in the night either. Very slight factory smell, but Iโll be able to get it out in a tumble dry with some fabric spray. I only wish they sold a plain white pillow case for it.

BEST PILLOW EVER! JUST DON'T WASH IT!
Update: Itโs been 7 years since my OG review. Iโve been divorced and have 6 kids now. And throughout it all, my Coop pillow has remained. I recently lost them to a house fire and itโs something on my list to purchase once life is stable because theyโre THAT good. I had numerous Edenโs and body pillows and trust me, you wonโt regret it. Just be mindful when washing them haha I never really gave my pillows much thought until recently when, for the first time in my life, I'd gotten a brand new bed. When my Walmart pillows went flat I'd stuff them together into a single case, that's how much I didn't care. Until now! I started with the Eden last week because it was supposed to be softer (it IS soft while still maintaining support). My first pillow had an issue upon arrival so Tammy at Coop Home Good's sent me out a new one, bless her heart she's a really sweet person (I'm due to have my fifth child any day now and so of course being hormonal I actually started to cry when I called because the pillows are way out of my price range and I was already in trouble with my husband for that and most importantly I needed it before I went to the hospital to deliver so Tammy asked me if everything was OK and I sort of broke down even more but long story short she made sure I got the replacement and now I'm all set with that). Well, I liked the Eden so much I decided I needed a body pillow to go with it (I used my pregnancy as my excuse for needing it so my husband wouldn't blow a fuse quite as bad over me spending 60ish dollars on another pillow). I ordered it from the coop website so it took about a week to get to me but when it did I knew right away that I loved this body pillow. It's soft and squishy and supportive all in one. My kids love jumping on it and being thrown into it. I bought the protector as well because I wanted this pillow to last and I was a tad nervous the protector might take away from the squishy goodness of this pillow like every other pillow protector I've ever tried but believe me it DOESN'T! So after one night I was in love but I knew that I could use just a tad more fill because of the way the pillow stayed flatter wherever my legs sat on it. Again I caught Tammy when I called in (she's amazing she really is) and she was awesome about sending me more fill and making sure I get it in time before I deliver this next bundle of joy. Here's the reason I gave this pillow only 1 star : I'm in extreme nesting mode so I decided to strip the bed and wash everything. I did like the instructions say and I latched the zipper closed with a safety pin before washing it. Imagine my total horror when I opened the washing machine and foam was literally EVERYWHERE! I don't even understand what happened, but there is now a rip along the bottom seam of the body pillow and that's where all the fill came out (the zipper was still secured in place). I hadn't even received the extra fill I had ordered yet. I was so upset after the hassle I went through to get my husband on board with me buying this pillow so out of frustration I threw it all away (in hindsight I shouldn't have done that but it was a sloppy wet mess and I didn't want him to tell me he told me so, and I also didn't want to call Coop Home Good's and try to explain this one after I'd already had an issue with my first Eden). I don't know why my pillow tore open but I know that it shouldn't have. I did order another Coop body pillow (this time through Amazon to take advantage of the 2 day shipping) and this time I know not to wash it. I'm out 60ish dollars for the first one though and that really really sucks (especially when my husband sees the bank statement with ANOTHER pillow charge on it yet no extra pillows on the bed). So, would I recommend this pillow? Beyond a shadow of a doubt YES just don't wash it! I'd also recommend the Coop pillow protectors, and I'd also recommend the Coop Eden. These people sell the most comfortable product ever and their customer service is matched by none. I think I received a "quality issue" body pillow and I'm obviously upset over it, but based on the 2 nights of amazing comfort it brought me I was still willing to shell out more money to make sure I got another one even with the cheap-o husband I'll have to deal with when he finds out....that should tell you right there that this pillow is worth it!

sent without original package
Was sent without the filling material, and original packaging. This is from a return and it is sloppy. Do not recommend.

Run Hot? Might Not Be For You.
Out of the box, the pillowed looked rather sad, and there weren't any instructions (beyond the care/wash instructions on the label). Less than a few hours later, however, things were looking great - the pillow had already bounced back a lot, and there wasn't much of a smell to the product. It's only been one night, but right now the pillow feels fantastic. It's soft, cuddly, supportive enough, and despite being really large for a single bed causes zero issues on that front. It's easy to move it to the other side of the bed, and I much prefer the shape the long oblongs. There is one problem, though. Despite many of the reviews I'd read claiming that it doesn't sleep hot, I think anyone who considers themselves to 'run hot' is going to find this far too warm, at least with the current case. I don't consider myself one of those people, in general, but there are times when I do run warm - this afternoon nap was one of those times and it felt like I was hugging a very cuddly hot water bottle. Update: I am still loving this pillow. It's just as soft, cuddly, and supportive as when I bought it. Additionally, after trying a satin case on the pillow, I think that people who run hot will likely still want to avoid the pillow - however, changing the case did make a difference, and I think the pillow itself is worth the cost.

So far, worth the cost!
So far, very impressed with the quality and support of this body pillow. Itโs hefty and definitely warm, which I donโt mind as Iโm always cold. I was worried it would have a strong chemical smell from some of the reviews, but the one I got had a very mild smell and I was able to sleep with it right away.

Exactly what I was looking for
For those reviewers commenting how it small it looks out of the box it clearly says in the instructions to fluff up the filling. Yes it looks sad coming out of the packing but it is extremely compressed. I took mine out, gave it a fluff up and left it for a couple of hours. The change is remarkable. The quality is excellent and the foam moulded to my body. As someone who had years of pain and poor sleep as my hips wore out and then were both replaced I'm very pleased with it and wondering why I waited so long to get one. Not cheap but a bargain for a better nights sleep. Comes with a removable cover but I think it needs a pillowcase.
