Paper logs
For what I got it for it serves me fine. I modified this since the handles are so thin and easily twist or bent. So what I took the handles off and built a frame to set this and a 20 ton bottle jack on top. With all that pressure I get some solid paper logs. Its built good enough to withstand the pressure. If possible mix some saw dust into the paper, it helps mend and burn the log.

Good frame, but side arms are prone to bending and warping.
The frame is solid; the inserts are good, but the bars for the arms are junk.... They are thin and prone to warping and twisting after the first time it is used....Would not be too bad over all after the arms are replaced, and or strengthened up with some side gussets... Will be welding and shaping new bars after I return from a business trip. One side is good so will be using that as a template...

It works
I was hoping it would work a little better as far as squeezing ALL the water out of the paper logs but it does a good job. I feel if it was about $15 cheaper it would be a better value. I've seen people on YouTube make their own for cheaper but I didn't have the time.

Not a replacement for real wood
1st time squeezing the water out, the side arm started to buckle and bend out of place. Not a replacement for real wood. Maybe a good idea for recycling but amount of time you put in it and what is gained, chopping wood get faster results ready for use.
