This quality dish package is supplied with everything you need to use as either a portable dish or fixed on a building excellent value for money.

The kit arrived in two boxes, both taped together. The Tripod was easy to unpack and setup as it was in the smaller box and very straightforward. The rest of the items were in the larger box with the Dish. Again, the Dish, LNB and cable were easy to put together and the instructions were fairly clear.It didn’t take long to have it all together and I used a free iOS App as well as the included Sat Finder to locate and ‘tune in’ to the relevant Astra 28.2E satellite.The tuning takes a while (although it could have been me) as you need to locate the satellite first and then fine tune it using very slight movement to get the strongest signal and the best ‘lock’ on the satellite feed you can. Time and patience pays off and within an hour, I had a good signal and good sound and picture.There are a few issues I should outline however, most of which are tripod related. First, the ‘collar’ on the tripod is slightly larger than the width of the shaft attached to the dish and LNB. This means that I had to pad out the shaft with a variety of items (rubber bands, plastic bags etc.) in order to try to tighten and secure the dish onto the tripod. This is important as you need the dish and LNB aligned and secured to ensure that you receive a consistent signal. If the dish (and thus the LNB) moves even slightly, the signal will be lost completely meaning you need to realign.I tried many things to get a tight seal between the dish shaft and the tripod collar as bone was included (and I did look several times), but it didn’t really work, meaning that the dish is not as rigid on the tripod as it should be and it will (and does) move in the wind. This obviously results in a loss of signal.The second (and wider) issue is something I could have foreseen. The tripod comes with metal ties that you can push into the grass to keep the tripod stable in adverse weather. However, we are renting (hence the need for a temporary Sat solution) and I our rear garden has no grass, only stone slabs meaning that the metal ties don’t work.For example, Storm Bella made her presence felt and the next morning the dish and quad LNB was on the ground as I didn’t have anything weighty to try to stabilise it.This all being noted; I have to say that the kit as a whole works very well. The picture and sound is great and all channels are available.My conclusion is that the system, once setup and tuned in, works well and performs great, and as a result it’s good value for money. But as there is no gasket or ring in the kit to ensure you can tighten the dish to the tripod, you’ll not get the best performance out of it as the dish will move on the tripod and will require adjusting (5 times in 8 days thus far).I like the kit, think it great value for money and if there were a gasket or similar in the kit to ensure the dish won’t move on the tripod, it’d be just about perfect.

The stand and metal frame are ok, but the LMB relievers bracket is cheap and nasty plastic mine broke so had to cable tie and glue it , didn't send it back as been without aerial for to long got it delivered on time so kept it and Kearny a lesson
