smooth
work great! cuts easily through wire lath and the tar paper attached to it. cuts just tar paper without the wire lath like any pair of scissors would cut a piece of paper.

Expensive
Everything's very acceptable for this product it's just the price is way too muchGo to a harbor freight or a quality Farm and Fleet a tractor supply some other discounted tool places you can get the same thing for half the cost

The most uncomfortable snips I've ever used
I have used sheet metal snips for over 35 years many different kinds of aviation snips red greens yellows, kobalt and Andy snips, wiss and many others. These snips are the worst of the worst put in your hand they dig into the side and top of your thumb because of the divot in the handle. They are trying to copy the malco snips there are many different variations they are 20 times better than these and there is also a exactly perfect Cobalt pair sold at Lowe's for 35 bucks that are awesome these snips are pure crap do not buy them

Too bulky to cut hardware cloth
Although they are excellent quality, they are much too bulky to cut hardware cloth because the width of the snips make it very tedious. The snips get caught in the wire and you have to wrestle the snips back out each time and start again. They are also HUGE, not sure why they had to make them so large.

Five Stars
as advertised good to cut roof shingles and sheetmetal

Quality Tinner snips
Great quality product, but I'd expect nothing less from Wiss. These snips have great leverage and maintain their edge very well.

Just get malco
Edit: hard to work with and they cut like poop. Just get malco

Made my job easy.
Good price, does the jobwas a bit hard to open and close but the oil eventually worked it's way in.after it's going well it cuts pretty damn straight, although i recommend something a tad longer if you've got the cash for it.This does the job though and i have few complaints.
