Outdoor String Lights 48ft with 23+2 Spare Bulbs, Shatterproof Dimmable Waterproof, LED 1W 60LM 2200K Warm Glow for Indoor/Outdoor Decoration and Lighting -Black Wire

I've had these up for a year now and am back to get some more to wrap around more of my house. Two individual lights have gone out in that time, but they sent replacement lights, so I used those and am very happy with them. They do a great job lighting my back patio at night and they're very pretty. I get a lot of compliments on them.

Not sure why there are reviews listed for a dimmer.I purchased 1 string. The lights are great and look great above my patio! Better then I expected. They have a warm yellow glow. They are cool to the touch. I leave them up in the rain, but unplugged. Customer service is great as well. 2 extra bulbs are included, however 1 bulb was not working on the string right out of the box. I emailed the seller and they promptly replaced the bulb and sent me a few extras at the same time.These lights are REALLY bright - SUPER bright. They light up the whole patio. I’m looking forward to doing some after sunset BBQ’ing under these lights, and ditching my BBQ lid light.I’m using a dimmer I purchased separately with these lights with no issue. I dim down to the preset 25% and it really sets a nice mood. The dimmer I am using is “Bulbstring 360W Light Dimmer Plug in - AC Weatherproof Cord Dimmer Switch for Outdoor LED Lamp, 50ft Range Remote Control Timer Controller, Plug-in 3 Prong Outlet with 9.8ft Extension Cord”

I tried to write a review on my first purchases and it wouldn’t post so maybe amazon will let this one! Best Buy ever! This is the third set of lights I bought from them! So amazing! Took my backyard from boring to incredible so easily. Some thoughts: lightweight but sturdy and easy to work with. Lights are fragile and we broke one on the third strand but they give you extras so no biggie (be careful though because it was a challenggggeee to get out if you do because there’s nothing to grasp to safely remove the broken bulb.) We had an issue with one socket of the first strand out of the box but the company was amazing to work with! I bought my third strand even though there was a major price increase and it’s still worth every penny and cheaper than others out there. I plan to buy more now and light up my hot tub on the side of the house and my front deck! Thankkkkkssss!

The bulbs are fragile, as the glass is pretty thin. If I would change anything about the strings, I'd have beefed up the glass around the LED a bit more. Not only would this make them more durable, but the weight would help them hang down more so the clips don't pop off the wire we installed them on. Other than that: these are great. My family and I are really pleased with how much these have brought our pool area to life at night. I refuse to use the light that is in the pool because it attracts way too many bugs. The strands over our pool light up the entire area nicely, while still being a warm light. And as a bonus, you can see the entire pool, including the bottom. Very happy with the way these turned out.

Update:I contacted Newpow and they have resolved my issue. Still sucks to get a set with a burned out bulb right out of the box but kudos to newpow for providing an amiable solution!Original review below:These seem to be pretty standard set of globe LED lights. They don’t really feel like “commercial” quality lights as the sockets feel very lightweight and fragile.Installing these is a bit of a pain with the bulbs already in each socket. Considering these are glass bulbs and rather thin glass, trying to hang these with the bulbs installed is a bad idea. I removed all the bulbs before hanging the strings.My biggest peeve and reason for the low stars is that one of the bulbs was defective right out of the box! I had to use the spare bulb immediately....there definitely needs to be better testing and quality control.

I installed 4 strands of these lights last year 2019. As of May, 1/3 of the lights had burnt out so I contacted the seller and they expedited me a couple boxes of replacement bulbs! Their communication has been excellent. I installed the light strands from our house to a Japanese maple tree and used thin gauge wire from Home Depot to ensure they would not sag during the northeastern snow months. I also installed this dimmer switch (SUNTHIN 360 Watts Outdoor String Lights Dimmer Wireless Remote Control Dimmer Switch 50Ft Distance Plug in Dimmer Stepless Dimming and Auto Off Switch Timer for Incandescent or Led Patio LightsBrand: SUNTHIN) which makes it so easy to turn the lights on and off or put on a timer.

The bulbs are much smaller than I expected, about 1-3/4 inches (see photo). I haven’t installed these lights in my backyard gazebo yet but they should be plenty bright. (I bought the Newpow dimmer to use with them.)To remove the lights from the package requires unscrewing each bulb. The wiring set itself is essentially a Christmas light string, with clips to provide a mounting option.Note that the bulbs are “G40” style, which here means a globe 40 mm (1.67 inches) diameter. G40 also refers to a much larger globe-shaped bulb 40 cm in circumference, which is 5 inches in diameter.

Love these patio lights. Easy to set up after you remove the bulbs and untangle the wire. This company has an excellent customer service. I had a problem with a couple of the bulbs two months after my order and in less than 24 hours they had not only answered me back but also resolved the problem. They not only back their product but are a refreshing pleasure to deal with. Thank you Newpow !!!
