Eddie BauerMen's MicroTherm 2.0 Down Jacket

The XL jacket fit me just right. I wear a 44-46 regular sport coat. I’m 6’ 205 lbs. Hope that helps for other guys. I was worried it might run small. The fill is thin but not too thin. It will warm you up quickly. It is super light which I love. Just wore it in 50 degree weather with a T-shirt under. Perfect. I’m quite short with a long sleeve base layer this coat is good to go down to 30 degrees…..just guessing. I don’t normally rant and rave about good products but this is well done. Zippered pockets. Elastic cuffs. Chest pocket. Pockets inside coat for gloves. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Super comfortable to wear and it functions as stated by Eddie Bauer.

I've been looking for a down jacket for the fall. Most look remarkably similar. This caught my eye because of the different design, thinner patterns, and nice color combo.I've been very impressed. First, it's very light and packable, like most other down jackets. Quality of stitching seems great. The fit is good. I have an athletic build and usually wear a 42L jacket size. I do have 34/35 sleeve length. This large size jacket fits perfectly. The sleeve is perfect length. Length of the jacket is just below the belt line. The chest is perfect. Definitely a fitted look. What I mean by perfect fit for me is that if you are much larger or longer, this jacket will be too small.One more thing, this jacket is not reversible.Overall, I love the fit and style of this jacket.

I think during packaging or handling it got cut. It arrived with a small cut in the arm that I almost didn't see, so check your order.Apart from that it's an amazing jacket. Fits beautifully, feels very warm and collapses into nothing. It's the perfect hiking jacket.

Great jacket. Love the "Tall" size. Fits perfect, but after a years light use, the jacket has a fatal flaw that makes wearing a PITA. The ZIPPER is both very CHEAP, and too small. Constantly getting stuck, hard to both open and close. I hate it when manufacturers go cheap on a small item that ruins the overall product.

The jacket looked as nice as I expected. It was also very warm for how thin it was. I will say I tripped and fell in some dirt, and tore the right hand sleeve very easily. I’m hoping it was a defective product.

I bought this coat from Amazon, zipper broke in the first three months. Amazon won’t take it back, and Eddie Bauer says they are not responsible. What is wrong with the system? I saved for this coat and now it’s unusable after 2 months of light wear, to and from the office. Never again Eddie Bauer!

I looked a long time for a jacket that fit me correctly. Most of the down jackets I looked it were either way too paunchy or had sleeves that were too short. I got an XL Tall which worked well. I used the size chart provided and measured by chest diameter (44). It is fitted but not so snug that I could not wear a sweater under it if needed. The chest pocket has a little hole for ear buds to pass through and the front pockets are deep. The whole thing can stuff down into one of the liner pockets if needed. This is a nice coat and I am glad I spent the money.

The jacket is overpriced for the quality.Before I purchased I red reviews and I ignored them trusting the brands. The reviews were not to be ignored. Poor quality. Zipper was so chip that jams all the time. Almost no filling in the jacket. The cut was uncomfortable comparing to Patagonia jacket I own for 3 years. Therefore I returned it in the box five minutes after I opened it.I send a request to Edie Bauer for the return label to send it back to them and waited for the label for more than two weeks. I came without pre-paid postage and I had to pay $30 for shipping. I free that it was a black hole. I followed up with Eddie Bauer online and never got any response even it was stated that the refund was approved. I waited for two months hoping Eddie Boyer will address the issue and send me a refund. It did not happen. Black hole remained to be a black hole. Then I called Amazon and it took Amazon two weeks to straight the up.Even though Eddie Bauer approved the refund I had to provide a tracking number to Amazon which I did so Amazon can chase them. After all I got my refund from Amazon.Lesson for me would be to never deal with Eddie Bauer again. They have no respects for their customers.
